We stayed at the Tremisana Game Lodge 1 night on our 4 nights safari trip. Fantastic service and probably the best staff in the world. Louise is the nicest and most happy spirit woman we ever meet. Welcome was so warm and you really felt comfortable on arrival. Always happy and laughing. Our guide James was very good and explained... More

We stayed at Tremisana Lodge, run by Viva Safaris, on the first night of our 5 day Kruger safari. After the long transfer from Johannesburg, we were welcomed by the smiling face of Pretty offering refreshing drinks of cold water. The rooms were clean and tidy, and had airconditioning units and mosquito nets. The family made use of the swimming... More

Viva safaris stepped up wonderfully when my cousin and I lost our money on Themba Tours, who went bankrupt 3 months before we were meant to go on safari with them. We were picked up at our hotel and driven to the lodge. The next days were filled with impalas, elephants, giraffes, kudus, water buffalo, hippopotami, hyenas and even a... More

Tremisana Game Lodge, ran by Viva Safaris, is a very nice lodge. The room a spent my one night in had two beds, which were covered by a very good looking mosquito net. The tea kettle seemed a bit dirty, but there were only some electricity plugs behind one of the beds, so I wasn't really able to plug it... More

I have been at the Tremisana Lodge over Christmas 2015 for 1 night. I am totally impressed by the kindness, thoughtfulness and professionalism by the staff. Generally it was the high season for the Greater Kruger Park area but Pretty and her team clearly were always on top of all and provided the perfect service, in calm and professional manner,... A friendly good value place well run and looked after by Pretty. The night drive and morning walk with Rex was superb and delivered lots of top animal sights and knowledge. Good nighttime barbq too. Recommended when combined with the treehouse. All well organised by African budget safaris. Wifi in reception and a bar area too

We spent 1 night at Tremisana Lodge as part of our 4-day safari. The lodge was basic but comfortable & clean, and having an air conditioner in the 30+ degree heat was much welcomed. On the day of arrival we were taken on a sunset game drive where we were introduced to some of the animals in the area. We... More

We were 4 adults and took the 6 days Tremisana Lodge Safari. We enjoyed our stay so much, yes the schedule is busy but it's worth it and the price for the money is excellent. The staff and guides are very friendly and knowledgeable, a special mention to Bongani and Morneo (guides) and Lianne (reception) who made a huge difference... More

I booked a 5 day safari with Viva Safaris through African Budget Safaris on my own. I'd suggest booking directly with the lodge and cutting out the middleman. Tremisana was great! Upon first arrival, I wasn't too sure about the cheesy looking fountains and ponds, and it's a small place. But they work hard to keep it clean and it... More

The two days I could spend here were just perfect for me. Food any room was just what I was looking for: Healthy and comfortable enough to spend some relaxing hours there. Yet remote and basic enough to leave the big city feeling behind and get closer to nature. The drives for the Safaris were just fantastic in the sense... More
