June 2014 Trip. Can't wait to go back!!! Getting There and Animals on the Grounds: It's about 5 hours from Johannesburg by bus/car. We learned there there is an airstrip and they regularly pickup guests at the airstrip. I just checked and the information is on the Sabi Sabi website. The property is immediately adjacent to Krueger National Park with... More

We stayed at Bush lodge because it was bigger than the other properties. We brought our 2 daughters with (in their 20's) and didn't want them to feel too confined or limited (and it has a gift shop). Our rooms were wonderful, very spacious with a relaxing area as well as a huge bathroom. No issues with finding enough space... More

I traveled there in March and spent 6 incredible nights. It was a magical place teeming with life and joy. The rangers, trackers, and lodge staff were all outstanding. The food and services were amazing and the amenities were great. My only trouble was my lack of the proper electrical converter, but after an hour of being there - I... More

I enjoyed Bush Lodge and Sabi Sabi. I had been to several other of the Sabi Sand's premier lodges and thus Sabi Sabi had a lot to live up to. Overall it's a great camp with great accommodations, great dining, and great safari staff. I can see where people would think it is perfect if Bush Lodge is their first... More

We have just enjoyed 4 days 3 nights of the most fabulous 'AfricanBush' experience any one could wish for. Yes it is winter here, yes it is cold in the mornings and evenings but to get into your own safari vehicle with first class views all round, a hot water bottle, blankets, your own choice of drinks, your own personal... We traveled through South Africa, ending our stay at Sabi Sabi. I must say, they were nothing short of amazing!!! My husband and I arrived with our two boys and the hotel, as walking us to our rooms said they had a surprise for us. They upgraded us to the Mandeleve Presidential Suite, at no extra cost!!! It was such... More

This trip was outstanding! We had a great group of guides and a great group of people staying at the lodge with us. This location is very close to the Kruger National Park. It did take a while to travel from Cape Town to Sabi Sabi, but the trip was worth the travel time. We saw four of the big... More

We booked three nights at Bush Lodge prior to a conference in Cape Town. Good recommendations for Sabi Sabi were accurate: we had an amazing stay! We arrived at the private air strip and taken into camp. Our room was extremely luxurious, considering it's out in the bush. Our ranger/tracker team (Kyle and Creamson) were very professional, and served as... More

We arrived on their private air strip and realized this is absolutely a 5 star safari experience. The staff very quickly helped us check in, gave us their special welcome drink and brought us to our private villa. The villa's are all designed with South African furnishings and the bathroom is really nice (and huge). The food was spectacular each... More
