We recently stayed at the Manor House. Our guide Rudy and tracker Foster were fun and knowledgeable. Both Rudy and Foster went above and beyond the call of duty to find a lion for us. The morning drives and evening drives were always amazing. Our morning drives started with blankets and hot-water bottles! Mid-drive snacks were provided and then a... More

Just spent amazing three night four day safari adventure at Tintswalow in one of their explorer suites. The staff and services were exceptional, from when they picked us up at the airport to when they dropped us off all too soon. The rooms are fantastic, opening out onto an area where we saw elephants, impala, baboons, kudu and more just... More

Stayed at this wonderful game lodge for three nights recently and what an amazing place to stay in the bush. The staff were out of this world and nothing was too much trouble. The meals were excellent and the service was superb. Had the chance to meet owners Gaye and Ernest. What charming people. The game drives by Fritz and... More

Stayed at the Manor House with friends and had the most amazing experience ever. Yes, outstanding service, food, setting , etc... The best... But what really set this place over the top was the passion and skill of our Guide Rudy and our Tracker Foster. I have been on safari before, but nothing like this. They shared their deep love... This is an amazing place. Not only is it staffed by friendly, hardworking, professional, and likeable people, but it is situated in one of the best wildlife reserves I've ever been to. we spent almost 7 hours a day cruising the reserve early morning, late afternoon everyday, with knowledgeable guides , in a one on one experience seeing leopards, lions,... Nothing negative to say about this fabulous safari Lodge and its staff. A very roomy cabin with wood stove for chilly evenings- did not want to leave, Food was first class and served in unique ways - different every day. Wildlife all over the place - peering in the windows too. You need to call for an escort between sunset... More

Our trip to Tintswalo was the trip of a lifetime. My wife and I had never been on safari, and we loved everything about the experience. Some highlights: - The game viewing was excellent. We saw the big 5 and dozens of other animals; the drivers and trackers are all outstanding, great company, the vehicles are great fun, and we... More

My husband and I spent the final leg of our honeymoon here and we did not want to leave! We were greeted the minute we walked into the lodge by a huge elephant at the watering hole - amazing! We took our first game drive that afternoon and saw 3 lion cubs, and a Cheetah snacking on his most recent... More

Take everything you dreamt an African safari could be... then multiply it by ten! Tintswalo, its staff, food, villas, and animals were beyond expectation! Our family of 6 went in October '12. We had both the Livingston Villa (?) and Presidential suites. The villas were furnished lovely and the view was jaw-dropping. My siblings and I couldn't stop laughing with... More
