Loved the view from our second floor two bedroom condo. But when we first walked in it "felt" dirty even though I knew it really wasn't. The furnishings were dated and very plain. The king size bed was hard and the sheets made me feel like I as sleeping on a burlap bag. My husband says I'm a little too... More

We had a second story condo with great views across the valley. We could see snowy mountaintops and all the way across the lake to the Inn of the Mountain Gods. The rooms in the condo were clean and roomy, although the baths were not large. We arrived very late in the evening due to rain and a dust storm... More

Room was not ready when we arrived but the front desk staff was very nice and got us into another room within a couple of hours. Great view of inn of the mountain gods; however, rooms were outdated and the bathrooms were subpar. I would probably stay elsewhere next time.

Our family of four stayed in a spacious two-bedroom, two-bath condo. The master bedroom had a comfortable king sized bed while the second bedroom had two twin beds. The floors of the unit had been replaced with nice wood in the hallways and kitchen, however, the carpeting had not yet been replaced and was in need of replacing. The kitchen... More

High Sierra Condos is a hidden gem located in the Sacramento Mountains of SE New Mexico. The 28 units are huge, we were told they'd originally been built as permanent residential condos. Although built in the mid-1980's, there's been much renovation that's on-going and the management & staff seem on-the-ball. Every unit has a wood-burning fireplace, and the deck on... More

Although the resort advertises that it is rustic and that patrons should not expect luxury, I believe that this is misleading. The place is just plain shabby and in need of updating. The physical location is lovely sitting on top of a mountain. But there is a tremendous amount of deferred maintenance that is in need of occuring. Our dishwasher... More

We stayed at the HIgh Sierra Resort in March '07. We had a 2 bd - 2 ba. unit. The first though as we drove to the top of Camalot Mountain was, "WOW, this place has got to have great views!" We passed alot of deer just grazing in the forest on the drive up. It was so cool, I... More
