we rented a cabin, the cabin was one room had a full size bed and a bunk bed in it. VERY small!! water heater was small especially for 4 people. The nice thing was being able to buy your own sleds and sled on the forest bordering the property. I would def recommend double checking your cabin reservation so that... More

It's a great place to stay. Some of us stayed in travel trailers and some in cabins. The staff is very nice. If I have to say something that could be improved I would say the WiFi. I guess that could be a good or bad thing...depending on how important it is to you.

We had reservations and arrived after dark on our first visit to this property. It is off season so the offices closes early at 3pm. There was a sign at the office stating late arrivals could get help from the after hours person and listed his space number. This didn't help us as we were unable to locate that space... More

Coming from El Paso, this was a great getaway for the long weekend. The resort was clean (well maintained) and the staff was very accomodating. And its refreshing to go to a campground that is as kid and pet friendly as this place is. Too many times, I've been to RV parks in our area that I've heard of complaints... More

This was a disappointing visit. We were to have 2 sites right next to each other but ended up close. The site we ended up in was nicer because our back window had a view of a wooded preserve. Our kids camper was so close to their neighbors that it was hard to put their awning out. We pulled over... More

Being on the road for years, and having to stay in hotels night after night, I enjoy the two nights a month that I am able to stay at this location. The atmosphere is fantastic, the cabins are excellent, and the staff is tremendously friendly. I have special times that I can get to this area and the management works hard... More

We have stayed here several times only to experience great hospitality each time. Cabins are heated & cooled well. The sleeping accommodations were comfortable. We love that some of the cabins are pet friendly. We will return.

This was our first winter camping trip. The staff here was so nice. They offered us space hearters and advice on helping to prevent frozen water lines. We asked to move spots on check-in, as I wanted on farther from the road, and was allowed to move to the one I wanted without any problems. We had a great night... More

We had a great trip to Ruidoso. The RV resort is only a couple of minutes from town. It backs up to Lincoln National Forest, so you feel like you are in the woods. There were very few other campers there, so we did not feel crowded. The cabins looked nice as well. Our daughter enjoyed the fish pond. We... More

The staff is very friendly, it has a family run feel. They were very polite on the phone and were willing to meet our needs. They are military friendly and offer a discount. They are also dog friendly as long as you have a well behaived dog that wont leave much mess. Cabins are cute and the price is good.... More
