Our stay on July 24th was less than acceptable. When we made the reservation we were not told the hotel was under construction. When we arrived the lobby was completely bare of furniture and the front desk person had to scramble to find us a room that was clean at check-in time. Our room was very confusing and I suppose... I was in Ruidoso on 3 July after a last minute decision to travel for the 4th of July weekend. In town with no reservations, many hotels were booked. We felt lucky to get a room at the Quality Inn. There were renovations in progress; but, we knew that when we decided to stay, so the renovations were not a... More

While there are bare rooms and bare walls and this hotel is definitely under construction, we found it nice and comfortable. They are still working out some bugs, such as the lights going off while you are in the hot tub (automatic timer based on activity) and then a hotel employee fussing at us because we turned the lights out!... This hotel is in serious need of renovations, so it’s a good thing they are renovating. I should have gotten a clue from the construction equipment outside, but I was tired and it was late. Personally, for the amount they charged for me, and the additional $17 for my dog, I should have gotten another room somewhere else. While they... More

I am sitting in my room preparing to leave after a 4 day stay. The room is large, with king bed. It has a big dresser/combo piece of furniture with a large mini-fridge, microwave, and a good sized flat screen TV. There is a desk, a small table with 2 chairs, and 2 nightstands which all match the dresser and... More

The smell of sewer gas was so bad that we left early! Would never stay here again. We paid three times the average rate because our stay was on a holiday weekend and there were no other accommodations available. Now I understand why they had available rooms!

When we first pulled up to the hotel, there were 2 cars in the parking lot. That sent up red flags. We checked in anyway. They have no elevator, so pack light! The staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was better than many we've experienced. The rooms are clean, but the carpet in our room had what looked like blood... More

My family and I have stayed here three times now. There are certainly some real perks. The pool is heated and clean, the breakfast includes eggs and sausage which works great for the Gluten-free/low carb dieters, and the staff is nice. I do agree with other reviewers that it really needs an update however. Carpet is old. Everything seems quite... More
