Very new and well apportioned cabin for a couple's weekend. We stayed in cabin # 12 and enjoyed the crisp mountain air as expected. A note though, you have to pass about 50 other cabins to find your secluded spot, there was plenty of peace and quiet, plus the roads are all well marked.

I think this is the best lodging I've ever been too, very quite and great scenery. I would definitely come back. Staff is nice and helpful. Great hiking trails, short walking distance to downtown. Cabin has all the amenities, very spacious, and private

The cabin was cozy and comfortable with great attention to detail. Loved the location, close to downtown, upper canyon charm and the sound of the river made everything very relaxing. Very kind and helpful staff. We will definitely be back for another visit!

We had our honeymoon and now we made to our first anniversary came back to the same cabin. Now like the last time it was picture perfect. Romantic doesn't start to explain how wonderful it is. The only thing that could make it better if we could stay longer (we will work on that). If you want to stay somewhere... More

Had a great time. Tub was amazing. Everything was clean, comfortable. The cabins are immaculate and the property is well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. We saw deer and a variety of birds. The front porch is a great place to sit and relax. The cabins are located within a mile of several good restaurants.

This was our second stay at Ruidoso Lodge Cabins. The cabins are immaculate and the property is well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. We saw deer and a variety of birds. The front porch is a great place to sit and relax. Both times we stayed there were in low season, so it was very peaceful. The cabins... More

This place was amazing. I stayed in the Sleepy Hollow cabin on the first leg of a road trip around the southwest. Everything was very clean, the tub was massive and the bed very comfortable. It was like staying in a five star hotel in a peaceful mountain setting. My wife and I will definitely be back the next time... More

Upon our arrival I discovered we had a flat tire. The owner Don had a compressor and gladly aired up our tire. Told us where to go and what to get in order to fix our tire. It was Christmas Eve and we had 15 minutes to get there before they closed. We made it. Got back to the Cabins... More

This is our forth year with this property and the third year in cabin #9. We can't say enough about the quality and consistency of our stay each year. The heating system was upgraded this year and it worked excellent. Although I do miss the ability to made a wood fire, the gas insert is much safer for our little... More

Thank you Oppy-Tx for your review! We, too, were sorry to have to remove the old wood burning fireplace, but, like you, we DO like the reliable and safer heat the gas fireplace provides. I don't know if you were aware, but a tree falling on the old fireplace and pulverizing it necessitated the upgrade. We stayed in #9 ourselves... More
