I would rate this property much higher if the flawed design of the building in which we stayed could be improved. We loved the location of the resort, which is along Camelot Road in a quiet part of Ruidoso toward Mescalero. The views of mountains from this resort are magnificent! The staff at this resort are great: they are friendly,... More

When there are many reviews on TA, I read the worst & best reviews.. I hope folks who do the same don't over-look my 3-star review. We've exchanged numerous time-shares with RCI & Interval Int'l & Crown Point Inn was the most lacking in amenities. As other reviews pointed out, the water situation is "difficult." Hard water is extremely difficult... More

Decent spot but after the luxury in Las Vegas Nevada a little more rustic in Ruidoso. The place highly suggest you bring your own water for cooking and drinking as the water is very hard. The location is secluded about a mile up from the highway so no quick walk to any spots but room does have all the things... More

Ok, when you are suggested to bring your own drinking water, there are a few unique features. I imagine this could be the case in most ruidoso hotels, but it affects hot water showers, laundry, cooking, coffee, ...the staff tries very hard to make this place work for guests. Maintenance worked on our furnace immediately and got us in business.... More

We are so spoiled with Grand Crown Properties that I rarely am satisfied with other exchanges. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, size, and beauty of Crown Point Condos. Loved the Fiesta dishes - would have enjoyed a measuring cup (so we bought a set and left it), The one boiler for hot water was "broken" two nights -... More

Stayed in a two bedroom unit at the top of the mountain. Had huge balcony with beautiful view of the mountains overlooking the town of Ruidoso. The place was in excellent condition and very clean. I will definitely stay there again as it was up at the top of the mountain but close to the town and casinos nearby.

We stayed at Crown Point last week as part of a family reunion. We had stayed here ten years ago for a similar vacation. The three bedroom unit had a queen bed, a full bed, and the third bedroom had two twin beds. The kitchen was small, but functional and we cooked several meals. The complex on Camelot Mountain was... Some of the previous reviews had created some anxiety and expectations were low but stay turned out very nice and comfortable. Some of the pros: Unit was not a 5 star but extremely clean, nicely painted, carpet appeared new, and kitchen appliances were updated. Stayed in building 8 which is between two buildings which would seem like a negative but... More

First stay at Crown Point and the views are wonderful - feels like you are close to heaven!! However, there are some things that everyone should be informed of prior to staying that no one at the office bothered to tell us. 1. Don't use the water for anything other than cooking - do not drink the water, and do... More

We stayed here at the end of March 2014. Very family friendly. The kids had a blast swimming in the enclosed pool and renting outdated dvds. The view from our rooms were awesome. We live in Los Angeles, so seeing this many trees and snow was something special. We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo, bi level. Loved it. There... More
