Our four nights at Vuyatela couldn't have been more perfect: The delightfully friendly staff who are professional but relaxed; and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and happy; The luxurious room with its charming ethnic decor and fun outdoor shower; The game drives with expert guides and trackers; The bush walks - fascinating; The food - delicious... We stayed at the Vuyatela for four nights for the first part of our 3 week honeymoon. The Vuyatela had been recommended to us by Taryn Harris at Winning Solutions (based in South Africa) she was absolutely brilliant and we would recommend her company to anyone. We are so glad we contacted somebody with local knowledge as we didn’t have... More

We stayed four nights in this luxury hotel after our friend and South Africa bush expert Bridget Booysen recommended this place to us. Anyone going to South Africa, connect with Bridget Booysen at Bushbreaks (http://www.bushbreaks.co.za/index.php/home.html). They got fabulous rates and good suggestions. We were picked up from the Nelspruit airport on time, and had a comfortable 2 1/2 hour ride... More

Our 3 day stay at Vuyatela was absolutely perfect from the moment we we arrived and did not disappoint for the entire duration, in fact just when we thought there was no way they could improve they would continually suprise us. The accommodation, service, food and all the little trimmings are 5* although the bush surrounds and camp fire create... More

My stay at Vuyatela Lodge was totally rewarding in every way. We received a warm welcome by enthusiastic staff, our rooms were clean and cozy, the food was fantastic, our guide and tracker knocked themselves out to provide rewarding game drives, the staff catered to our every need graciously and promptly...in short, there are not enough superlatives available to adequately... We stayed here on honeymoon and experienced a very similar (although perhaps nastier) incident at Djuma Vuyatela to the stolen necklace report that another person wrote about. We were sleeping on our last night. Someone broke in and opened the key safe whilst we were asleep. They took everything (passports, cash etc). We were disturbed, woke up, but couldn't see... More

My wife and I took a vacation of nearly 3 weeks, driving around South Africa and Mozambique. We spent our final two nights at Vuyatela. This property is perfect in every way. No expense was spared in the construction of the cottages along with the furnishings and artwork. All beautiful, the finest quality, spotlessly clean, thoughtfully tended to throughout our... More

My husband, daughter and 7 year old grandson and I spent 2 wonderful days at Djuma Vuyatela. Everything was perfect. the welcome, lodges, food, staff and game drives. We cannot wait to return and cannot thank the staff enough for all their care and attention.

On my recent visit to South African I was fortunate to spend the nights of August 14 and 15, 2009 at Djuma Vuyatela. On arrival I immediately got the sense this was going to be a wonderfully relaxing stay. The staff greeted us with huge smiles and welcoming handshakes. Instantly I felt at home. Our room was not quite ready... More

We spent three nights at the Vuyatela Lodge during our three week visit to Southern Africa. We had a wonderful stay. The setting and accommodations at Vuyatela are beautiful, and the camp staff are delightful. Our guide and tracker gave us an excellent safari experience. We saw the "big five" during our first night drive! The meals are very good.... More
