I spent a lot of time researching all the options in Sabi Sands reserve, a private game reserve bordering Kruger Park, that is highly rated. All the lodges are expensive, but Nkorho for us offered the best "value", we were not disappointed. We were four in our party, including our two boys ages 12 and 15 yrs. The booking process... More

As there are a lot of reviews already, I will keep it to the point: - this lodge is more of a couples quiet type, which was perfect for us (honeymoon) - the honeymoon suite was unbelievable (see pics), a part from the rest of the houses and extremely quiet - food was good but as the other lodge (Elephant... As part of our South Africa trip last year we stayed at Nkorho for two nights. We chose this lodge as it is one of the more affordable places in Sabi Sands and also fairly small. We were not disappointed. The rooms are very nice including and outdoor shower, which I loved! The main building is beautifully set directly across... More

We ended a 10 day, multi-lodge safari with 3 days at Nkorho Bush Lodge. It DOES take awhile to get there; however... definitely worth it! The lodge is in laid out nicely, with individual rooms surrounding the main lodge and the watering hole, where you can watch the animals grazing and drinking, while we did the same at the bar... Back at Nkorho with guests at the end of an unforgettable tour... alas.... no game drive for me today because the lodge is full and there is no place for the guide on the two game drive vehicles... no surprise, considering the unbeatable value that this lodge offers! It is situated in the Northern sector of the Sabi Sand, with... More

This was my first visit and I was really impressed. I would definately recommend Nkorho and go back again. The location is beautiful, the staff and rangers/trackers are great - friendly and knowledgable. The food is very good and the excellent game viewing meant I could see the big 5 as well as others. There is space to relax and... More

his was our fifth time visiting Nkorho - and it is always really good. We always enjoy staying there, doing game viewing and taking some nice shots. It is a unique place, people are friendly and helpful, rangers are very knowledgeable and on every trip we found something specific. For sure one of the best places to see leopards as... More

This was our second time visiting Nkorho and once again we had a fantastic stay! Nkorho is a beautiful place to stay and as we looked out from a sun lounger at the water hole outside the fence we were all wishing we could have stayed for a lot longer! Easily the best thing about our stay was the game... More

Nkorho hosted my brother's entire family of 17 people for 5 nights. (From America) The staff was wonderful from the beginning helping us with room accomodations for the family groups. The kids were ages10 to 19, the staff accomodated all of them with the safari activities, bush walks etc. The game was extraordinary and guides wonderful. Everyone was SO sad... More

If you plan on driving into Sabi Sands and staying at Nkorho, I would strongly recommend getting a truck or SUV. Kruger is a pleasure to drive around; even the dirt and gravel roads there are almost always navigable at 35km/h. The dirt path leading from Hluvukani to Sabi Sands is by far the roughest I've ever driven. Even crawling... More
