We stayed at Idube for 4 nights at the end of our honeymoon and what can I say except Wow!! The staff were welcoming, attentive and so knowledgeable! Our ranger Rob was fantastic and made sure we saw all the big five and more, including a live leopard kill. The highlight though was seeing a leopard walk under our deck... More

Stayed here for our honeymoon in December 2014. Safari is an incredible experience, and Idube went above and beyond our expectations. Saw the big five within 12 hours of being on the property. Food was top notch. Staff at the lodge, our driver, and our tracker were all exceptional. Definitely recommend a stay here. Tip: If you can, spend a... More

Okker Stoltz is a highly knowledgeable, intrepid, patient, and utterly professional ranger. Thanks to him, we stalked a leopard at day's end, witnessed an impala kill, and watched, in silence, as a hyena waited on the ground below the fragile tree lest the leopard drop his eventually-aspyxiated prey. The next morning, we returned to see the deep red claw marks... More

We spent three nights here and loved every minute of it. The lodge itself is not extraordinary - but the service and game drives are. We had Okker and Lonnet take us out for our drives and within the first two we saw all 'Big Five' and were simply thrilled! We also had am amazing chef who was extremely talented... More

Our guides at Idube (Okker and Titus) were top-notch, we literally trusted them with our lives on the bush walks. We saw the big five almost every day, plus cheetahs and tons of baby animals. Elephants entered the camp and ripped down trees almost every night – which made the entire experience that much more fun and very real. Monkeys,... More

We stayed at Idube for 3 nights in mid-December in one of the two Makubela suites with a plunge pool, which was perfect for the hot summery afternoons after lunch. I'd definitely recommend the suite for the pool, the more modern accommodation, privacy, and view from the balcony. The room (like almost everything about Idube) exceeded my expectations--and I had... More

Spent 4 nights here with my husband early/mid December. Takes about 2 hours drive from Nelspruit Airport. We were warmly greeted at the front entrance and given a quick overview of the basic rules etc for staying "safe". You are also asked about any dietary needs. We had cabin 1 which was real convenient, not too far away from the... More

If you enjoy your safaris this is the place to go. We arrived at Idube and were met by Andrew who explained what our daily routine would be. He immediately went up in my estimation when he introduced me to a new type of gin - it's quite aromatic and quickly became my drink of the day! He explained they... More

My wife and I stayed at Idube for three nights 31 October to 2 November at the start of a 12 day stay in Sabi Sands to celebrate her 65th birthday. We were lucky enough to have Brogan and Titus as Ranger/Tracker and got to see some wonderful sightings of Leopard and the rest of the big five plus African... More

The staff members are wonderful. Our ranger and tracker were a good team: Brogan and Titus. We were so close to all the Big five animals. It was fun! Dinner was very fine and tasty for both nights. The chefs are very good. But the morning tea/coffee, breakfast and lunch were just barely okay. Was little annoyed that the breakfast... More
