Amazeballs! My husband and I stayed 4 nights. We stayed in a luxury lodge. Contrary to other reviews about staying in a lodge vs. the main building, we loved it. My husband and I travel 80% of the time so the alone time was much needed and we loved feeling secluded in the African bush. We had elephants and antelope... More

Wow what can I say!! My wife and I stayed four nights which will be four days/nights we will never forget. The safaris were unforgettable after prior being at another game lodge we didn't think we could be further impressed. Ryan our ranger was superb, his knowledge outstanding and personality suited to the job! The close up sightings we got... More

Such warm memories of Arathusa as i'm writing this review. My boyfriend and I did a 2 nite stay with them which I thought would be enough (tight schedule) but I regret not staying another nite just to relax in the tranquility of the lodge. Our room was secluded - Tambouti - which was perfect for the outdoor shower and... More

We stayed at Arathusa December 17th for 4 nights. It truly was the most fantastic place. Our Ranger Sean and Tracker Rifus were so knowledgable about all the Wildlife including birds and trees as well as the Big 5 or Magnificent 7 as we saw. Every game drive was different. Each one exhilarating. Rhino, elephant, lion, wild dogs, cheetah, leopard,... More

I do apologise for the late review I thought I had written this! We came to Arathusa in August and stayed for 4 nights. I can't fault the place! Our days went something like this:- 5:30am we were woken very pleasantly for our morning safari. 6am we had coffee and set off for safari. We had Roy and Chris with... More

Pros: Good game drives, knowledgable rangers and trackers, beautiful accompdations Cons: Food was average, lixury rooms a little far away from the main lodge, regimented meal schedule with no option to buy snack. Overall a good experience especially since the purpose is mainly game drives and animal sightings. We stayed for 3 nights - 2 nights more than adequate.

very pleased with the staff friendliness and desire to please, from the greeters to the manager to guides . Accomodation in standard bungalow was lovely as we looked over the water hole with hippos in consent attendance. Our guide and tracker worked hard on the 2 games drives each day to allow us to view the best possible and varied... More

stayed at Arathusa for two nights in October. Met by Marilize who gave us a wonderful welcome. An absolutely amazing experience for my wife and I. Arrived for one of the plentiful meals before our first safari - an evening one. Our Ranger and guide (Roy and Chris) were simply fantastic allowing the party we became part of - Australians,... We stayed for 4 nights from 19th December, this year. All I can say is it was fantastic. Our ranger was Ryan and our tracker was Debeer. They were both fab. We got up close to lots of animals, it was really quite surreal. We saw leopards, Rhino, Elephants, Zebra to name but a few. The highlight was following a... More

Stayed for three nights and had a great visit. Great ranger (Roy) and tracker (Chris), delicious food, excellent accommodations, and friendly and helpful staff. I'd stay there again. I saw the Big Five while taking great pictures and videos. The bushwalk was an unexpected plus I learned a lot from and really enjoyed. Highly recommended!
