This was our second lodge in Kruger park, so Notten's had a lot to live up to! And they did it. The service was impeccable from start to finish and the staff very friendly from start to finish. Everyone knew our name and said hello each day, which was a great touch. The grounds are beautiful. Very well kept and... More

Nottens was the highlight of my trip to South Africa. Everything was truly perfection. The service is the best I have ever experienced, you're treated like royalty by all the of amazing staff. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met, they make you feel like you are apart of their family. The food is so delicious,... More

We have been to Nottens before and every meal was at a big table - very sociable and great to talk to different people during the mealtimes. Reading a review it seems that this has now changed and only the evening meals are taken together. A great shame as so much of the charm of this bush camp was the... More

The Notten's was a highlight on our family tour to South Africa. Everything was perfect! We stayed two nights and had 4 safaris, repeated encounters - just besides the cabrio jeep - with the big five and many other animals. Accommodation is top - five points are just not enough for the Notten's. The animals get really close also at... More

From the moment we arrived until the morning we left, my wife, daughter, and I were treated like royalty. Because of our failure to arrive without our luggage, my wife and I did not have the cold weather gear required for the morning drives. However, the camp’s manager, Dale, provided us with jackets and a cap. Further, though we arrived... More

A friend recommended Sabi Sands when we were preparing our itinerary to South Africa. Our expectations were far exceeded during our stay at Notten's Bush Camp, and we would highly recommend to anyone looking to have an amazing safari experience. When we arrived at the newly refurbished Skukuza Airport, we were greeted by a cheerful man named Sheldon. After a... More

My husband and I stayed at Nottens for 3 nights in late September and enjoyed every minute. All the staff were so welcoming and kind, the camp beautifully situated, the food fantastic (as other reviewers have said, too much!) and our room (more of a suite) was very well-appointed and comfortable. It shows you don't have to 'rough it' in... More

Notten's was one of the best experiences we have ever had. Everything was perfect ! It is a family owned and run operation that feels very personal as it only caters for around 20 guests. The food was delicious and very abundant we could not stop eating. It was great to share the evening meals with all the guests at... More

My family -- wife, husband, two daughters in their 20s -- stayed at Notten's Bush Camp in late August. It was our first safari and we loved every minute of it. Taniko and Gideon did a fantastic job guiding us to lions, elephants, leopards, cheetas, rhinos, giraffes, etc., etc., and teaching us about the animals and their habitats. Our double... More

My husband and I plus 4 friends visited Nottens early September. The camp was perfect and staff outstanding, it certainly lived up to our expectations and much more. We were made to feel welcome from the start and felt sad when leaving. Accommodation was lovely, with the lodges very private and separate from one another, would recommend for honeymooners. The...
