We recently spent 4 wonderful days at Nottens, as a family of 7. Couldn't fault a thing. The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. The food and drink plentiful ( too much!) The staff so attentive and friendly. Special mentions to our wonderful Guide Tinyko and tracker Gideon who made our bush drives fun and informative and a little hair... More

Nothing to add to the previous positive reviews except to agree and RECOMMEND HIGHLY that you visit this place. Particular care was taken with our dietary needs as vegetarians - and having eaten the amazing food there we now really need to go on a diet! Over three days we saw leopard with cubs, lions walking, rhinos fighting, elephants at... More

We just returned after a great trip which included 4 nights at Nottens. There were 7 in our party ,my 70 yr old parents, sister and brother in law and my husband, me and our 10 yr old daughter. We had a lovely family apartment room with 2 bedrooms and the other 2 rooms were lovely and spacious too. All... More

Approaching Nottens at night is to enter a romantic hotel, lit by candles and kerosene lamps. The public area looks out over a grassland area and a waterhole and animals traverse it even in the day. A great place for a sundown drink. Our room and bed were comfortable, the bathroom large. My wife very much enjoyed the hot candle-lit... More

We cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had at Nottens. The camp staff are professional yet welcoming, attending to our every need from the moment we arrived until we sadly said goodbye. They spoiled us with the wonderful food, service, accommodations and exciting game drives. Their Rangers and trackers are so knowledgable, we were able to view the... More

Really great experience overall. The owner Dave and his staff are excellent, and always on hand if needed. The main staff member Gift always went above and beyond. As other reviews mention, there are no electric lights at night, and no heat in the rooms. Some people complain about this, but it truly makes you feel like you're in the... More

A fantastic experience due to the superior accommodations, outstanding location, great / plentiful food and phenomenal staff. My 96 year old father and I recently returned from his "bucket list" trip. One of the highlights of our trip was the three amazing nights spent at Notten's Bush Camp. The staff could not have been any friendlier (seriously!) from the moment... More

Notten's is a wonderful family run camp in the Sabi Sand Private Reserve. Out chalet/room was huge with a deck, large soaking tub, and indoor and outdoor showers. The food is OUTSTANDING and they feed you too well. Morning game drives left at 6:30 am and returned at 9:30. Prior to departure, a thermos of hot water is delivered to... More

I've been going to Nottens for a few years now. I love it there. The staff are incredible, food delicious, rooms comfortable. But the game drives are just fantastic! I always feel sad when we leave. Thank you to the Nottens family for making it memorable each and every time.

Very nice "rustic" safari lodge with minimal electricity, but the kerosene lamps and candles sure add to the ambience. Add to that a very very attentive staff (Gift is simply amazing..bringing us cold drinks while we relax in the sun without even asking!), great food, and desire to serve (sundowners in the wilderness, camp fires, etc). Even picked up a... More
