Situated in the middle of the bush we did not know what to expect; but after a long journey from London our arrival was perfect. The Management and staff were wonderful, ready for us and getting us settled quickly to get us out on first safari adventure. Our driver and guide were both extremely knowledgeable giving you that comfortable feeling... More

I had just about decided to leave Sabi Sands out of our safari planning - Tswalu was the main item on my agenda and I wondered would Sabi Sands be too tame after that and anyway with little budget left how could we afford to fit in a really great Sabi Sands lodge? Fortunately our safari organiser (Rose at The... More

Everybody and everything here was just about perfect! Oil-lamp and candle lit rooms and dining area make for a romantic, old-fashioned escape. The food was plentiful and excellent. Staff were attentive, helpful and friendly and made us feel like we were staying at a family home. And we saw LOTS of animals. My favorite memory was taking an outdoor shower... More

I stayed in Nottens Bush Camp for 2 nights at the end of July 2014 after spending 2 nights in Elephant Plains Lodge and 2 nights in Nkorho Bush Lodge. In my opinion Elephant Plains has got the top spot for "best value for money", and Nottens is the best in terms of accommodations and gets overall top spot of... More

Unbelievable. This down to earth, family owned and run, safari camp is the best value in Sabi Sands. It took five years for us to get back to Africa and the tales of Notten's brought another couple with us. It's not 'butler in the bush'; more authentic but a casual luxury not to be dismissed. We stayed at three properties... More

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Notten's. This is an intimate, family-run bush camp, with outstanding service, fantastic game-viewing, gourmet food, and luxury accommodations. As soon are you arrive, you are offered a cocktail, and invited to relax as they carry your bags to your room. The rooms are huge, and private, and include glorious outdoor showers. The lodge... We stayed at Notten's three nights, and would have been happy to be able to stay longer. The lodge was spectacular....part of it open air, part of it indoors. The staff was extremely helpful and personable, and the trackers and guides were excellent. Days: We were awoken by a knock at the door at 6:00 every morning, along with a... More

We stayed at Nottens with our 4 grandchildren, and our 2 daughters and the experience was wonderful for all of us. The children liked the candles and lanterns for lighting and the outdoor shower. The food was very good, and the evening meals were so pretty with candlelight and a fireplace. We had many choices for breakfast and they accommodated... More

I loved the Notten's Bush Camp. The safari times are great! There are complimentary bush walks! Its unlimited food and bottomless drinks and the staff are always willing the help. The fact its a private park means the animals can be found easily and they can be approached very closely as they are accustomed to the safari land cruisers. Highlight... More
