We spent 3 nights with our teenager daughters and had such a wonderful time. It seems like a dream! there is nothing that could have been done to improve our time there. The staff is perfect, from Chantelle the welcoming young lady that presented us the place and showed us our rooms, to our waiter Sam who took care of us... Amazing to enter old world safari and be transported to the opulence. Love the watering hole restaurant. Highlight: lying at the pool all day and being served some of the most exquisite lunches, drinks and snacks you can possibly ask for. The service is the best in South Africa; amazing how Singita understand guest needs better than any other of... More

It is hard to put into words our magical experience at the Singita Ebony. We stayed at the lodge for our honeymoon on 26th October for 4 nights and what an experience it was! Our holiday of a lifetime didn’t get off to the best of starts, we had a rather stressful time getting to Singita due to problems at... More

I need to start my review by mentioning that I have stayed at most hotels on the top 100 list. I have become very spoiled and a very critical guest. I can say with full confidence that this is the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in. It is hard to convey what makes Singita so special because I... More

Singita is Spectacular… Spent 6 days total in Singita over Thanksgiving- 2 nights in Ebony, 2 in Boulders and 2 in Sweni. All I can say is- WOW! I think we were prepared for the level of surrealism by tracking tripadvisor and other reviews, but nothing prepares you for the sight when you actually get to each of the resorts.... More

Nothing I read of Ebony Lodge prepared me for the beauty and level of service there. Only the amazing game drives could tempt me away from the resort. Our suite was enormous and spectacular – words can’t describe it you need to go to their website to see it. The resort is on the Sand River and a hippo spent... More

My new husband and I had an incredible experience at Ebony. The lodge has a grand old safari feel to it, picture big leather chairs, silver candlesticks and stuffed animals. But with no stodgy feel to it. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the rooms are outstanding. Each room has a private pool, outside sitting area with oriental carpet and... More
