We stayed in two Singita lodges during our trip, Sweni and Ebony and, although quite different, both were wonderful. Ebony is the more traditional of the two, but, like Sweni, the service and attention to detail was second to none. Our room was large and attractively furnished with a large terrace that overlooked the river and featured a good sized... More

Having taken safaris before, we had high hopes for our stay in Kruger. Our expectations were more than met at Ebony. We luxuriated in the traditionally furnished suites with dark woods and soft furniture and the outdoor infinity type pool. The staff was considerate and attentive. The meals were taste treats, accompanied by beautifully chosen wines by Velma, the sommelier.... More

This is an absolutely gorgeous property with incredible staff. We loved it from the moment of arrival until departure. The staff create a magical environment and are so friendly (genuinely so) that you feel comfortable at all times. The food and wine are delicious and on the safari drives, we saw the Big 5 in one day! The massage I... More

We stayed in April 2014 To say this was an unforgettable experience is to seriously understate it. We'd been to 4 other properties on our Africa trip and this was the last one before we headed home. We arrived late in the afternoon, missing the departure time for the afternoon drive. If we'd known beforehand we would have looked a... More

I don't even know where to begin! Everything about our time at Singita was world-class and unforgettable. We flew into their private airport on the property and were greeted by the guides who would be with us our entire time there. We arrived at lunch time and decided to all sit outside on their balcony dinning area. Within 5 minutes,... More

Great villas, great staff, outstanding views, lots of game, food is sublime, the wine list (South African) is impressive, you could not ask for more. Best lodge I have stayed in. I'll be back but I will try the Boulders next time which is currently under renovation.

Stayed here for 3 days. I've been to nice hotels, including Burj Al Arab, Ritz Carlton. This was better. Amazing rooms... not rooms... houses. Food, location, staff and the animals. You can't go wrong.

I loved every minute if it and these 3 nights/4 days were simply the highligth of my trip. I cannot put a finger on anything, that was not top... More

After reading all of the reviews and doing your research, you'd expect an amazing experience. But what you can't imagine is how welcomed you will feel by the extraordinary staff. Everyone has a gentle, warm manner and it feels like all they want you to do is to have an incredible experience. There isn't anything forced or formal. It is... More

We had our first African Safari two years ago and, when scheduling this trip, we knew we wanted to end it at Singita Ebony, only this time, we wanted more days there. We were spending three weeks in Africa and ended with 7 nights at Ebony. It didn't disappoint! Accommodation-wise, Ebony is fabulous. It is decorated in a more old-time,... More
