Our first stop on a ten day four property family safari! Beyond words... The lodge has just been redecorated in a chic Ralph Lauren-ish Safari Style, and is very comfortable. The food is top of the line - as good as any restaurant in the world. The staff and guides could not have been more professional and friendly. All I... More

Ebony is just restyled so it was even more beautiful than we could have seen on the pictures. The view from the lodges over the river is like a dream, just sitting on the veranda of your lodge and you will see so many animals passing. We had Adries and Martin as our ranger and tracker and the did a... More

Well, there is little to say about this place that hasn't been said. I significantly prefer the classic Safari style of Ebony over the modern look of Boulder. Loved everything except the buffet style African theme evenig, where the food was really not good. We should just have opted for the a la carte instead. On a side note: What... More

A place of ultimate luxury! The rooms are private houses, with colonial furniture and exquisite details, the decks are overlooking the river, with private heated pools. You can do your early afternoon safari laying on the deck, watching elephants, buffalos or eagles! Food is good, wines are superb! We even had a wine tasting session with the in house oenologist.... We began our safari with two days at Singita Sweni (in Kruger), and then went to Singita Ebony for the following two days. Both hotels are incredibly different, and we loved seeing both properties (which had different landscapes and different representations of certain animals). The style was also incredibly different, while Sweni is modern and fresh, Ebony is classic although... More

What a wonderful weekend we had at Singita Ebony Lodge. We were treated like royalty and the level of service, service, service and more service are absolutely amazing. This has to be the best place I have been to thus far. Nothing can match Singita style!

If you are sadly limited by time or circumstance to visit just one location in this glorious country, look no further than spending your few precious days in the haven of a Singita Lodge. The wide and engaging smiles that engulf you on arrival are infectious. In a brief and fleeting moment you will find your jaw exerted to its... More

We have previously visited a number of game reserves and stayed in various lodges but none of them surpasses or comes near to Singita Ebony Lodge. From the moment we stepped out of the plane on arrival to the moment we departed we were superbly looked after by the incredibly attentive and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for...
