Arrived from a week of mtgs in Capetown to this amazing property. The 2 safari's a day of course are awesome - you will see the Big 5 and plenty of other action. But what makes the Earth Lodge special is the staff and the actual property itself. From the moment you walk in- everyone knows your name and remembers... More

We had read the reviews for the property and had heard directly from several folks who had stayed at Earth Lodge.........nothing prepaired us for the experience we had. The hotel itself is beautiful, it blends so naturally into the area that you wouldn't even know it was there. The animals certainly don't because a heard of elephants literally walked so... More

Initially sceptical of Earth Lodge when suggested, because of pictures making its design look rather heavy on the concrete, we couldn't have been more wrong. We had initially wanted the traditional (colonial?) style of lodge as we had in Kenya and Tanzania, but decided to try something different. Quite a shock when you first walk in down the passage, it... More

This was our first time staying in the southern part of Sabi Sands as we have generally stayed in lodges more north and could not have chosen a better lodge to experience the south. The lodge is not fenced and whilst having pre dinner drinks outside the bar area one evening, we had a hyena come right up to the... More

Upon arriving to this beautiful lodge we were thrilled to see the beauty of it's architecture and how it complemented the natural surroundings. We had been traveling around Southern Africa for over a month and had stayed at many camps and lodges. We absolutely loved this lodge, the people, the service and the safaris. Everything was top notch. The spa... More

Probably one of the best hotels I ever stay. Around 1 hour from Skukuza Airport that bush lodge has few rooms. Each room has their own plunge swimming pool. All meals and 2 game safari per day are inclueded in the rate. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This is a kind of hotel I want to visit again.

I have stayed at most of the lodges in the Sabi Sand reserve and can state that without a doubt, nothing comes close to Sabi Sabi. Sabi Sabi, and in particular Earth Lodge, is without question the flagship lodge in the whole of the Sabi Sand. There is nothing to fault from the accommodation, food, wildlife, and to the whole... Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge was the finest travel experience I have ever had. Everything is first class, from the service to the room to the safari guides (ask for Marcus and Louie as your guides, they are phenomenal). The food is gourmet and the service outstanding. Nadia and her team really have their act together, and staying here has become... More

Oh my goodness. This place is unbelievable. Almost completely hidden from view you have absolutely no idea what you are entering! Our suite was magnificent. Our Ranger Mike and Tracker Petro were amazing and very understanding to my phobia of snakes! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff our waiter George was wonderful! Food exceptional. This is definitely a... More

I cannot say enough about the luxury, the beauty and the professionalism of this reserve. A magical place. And my 17 year-old son was quite impressed--and he is not easy to impress. Stay here for several days while in South Africa. We also had amazing sightings: leopards, lions, zebras, a cheetah, and so much more.
