We had a great 2 day safari here, seeing the big Five plus a cheetah and cubs, zebra, giraffes and a pack of African wild dogs hunt some hyenas! Our Ranger, Pravir, was knowledgeable and gave us a southern hemisphere star gazing lesson along with photography tips! Our tracker, Zulu, was great at finding tall the animals we wanted to... More

We stayed here first - 3 nights - and then to Tintswalo (review also posted). We are glad we did these lodges in this order. This was a wonderful experience but not as exclusive as Tintswalo. Many more lodgers in a smaller reserve. Many more kids. The lodges at Sabi Sabi coordinate the animal sightings so you'll see whatever is... More

We have just returned from an amazing stay at the Bush lodge at Sabi Sabi. We were two families with a total of four adults and four kids aged 7 to 13. The accommodations were impeccable. The food quality was five star all the way beginning with the croissants at 5:30, the amazing breakfast after the morning game drive, the... More

Friendly staff, candlelit dinners, deck overlooking watering hole, relaxing massages, adventurous safaris, good food....what more could one ask for? They even have tea at 4pm! It was very peaceful in the lodge, and we learned things we didn't know about the animals we saw on the safari. Because it's situated on the game reserve without fences it is important to... More

Bush Lodge is the largest (and least expensive) of four lodges in the Sabi Sabi private game reserve. If you have kids - or don't mind sharing your safari experience with other guests - this is the lodge for you. If you want a totally exclusive experience and can afford a slightly higher price - go to one of the... More

I can only recommend this lodge. Friendly and attentive staff, good quality food ( in abundance!!) and excellent game drives. The tracker and guide were exceptional and we saw all the big 5 and cheetah too, although this is not a frequent view. I didn't imagine we would be so close to the animals, with lions a mere 2 metres... More

We checked out of SabI SabI Bush Lodge after three fantastic days this morning and wish we could turn back the clock and start all over again! What a fantastic experience! This was our fourth safari and by far the best. We ticked all of the Big Five off the list on the first of six drives but each drive... More

Went here for my first visit to Africa and my first safari. It was amazing. The morning and afternoon safari rides were great. The driver and tracker were so accommodating and even made sure we tromped around the bush to catch a glimpse of a giraffe! The rooms were amazing and we even had an outdoor shower. So cool! Would... We stayed at Bush Lodge in August for five days with our teenage daughters. I was nervous having booked for five nights in just one place, but it was brilliant. We were paired with a lovely German couple who were also there for five nights. They were as passionate as us about the wildlife, like us, not missing one of... More

We had always wanted to visit the Kruger and in particular the private Sabi Sands reserve, for many years we had heard of Sabi Sabi group's renowned Earth Lodge and were given the option of the Bush Lodge which we booked for November 2014 and this lodge suited us perfectly. We flew into the Skukuza private airport from Johannesburg, a... More
