Never have I stayed at a place with such phenomenal hospitality and a fantastic welcoming vibe. The manager Grant was exceptional and made you feel very welcome and at home. His staff too were excellent, particularly our guide for our stay Craig who with his tracker Zeb made a fabulous duo and had a wealth of knowledge. The food at... More

This review is long overdue, but my husband and I went there on our honeymoon back in October 2013. We stayed in Selati Camp #6 for 5 nights and it was incredible. Our guide was Lee, and he took us on amazing adventures through Kruger National Park, where we saw all of the big 5 plus a huge variety of... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Selati Camp - we were spoilt rotten by the great staff. Our guide Eve was very knowledgeable and informative. She was good company ensured that we had a great experience. Our tracker Evans was very friendly and explained what he was looking for and gave us a different perspective. Between them we... More

My husband and I stayed at Selati Camp for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. It was absolutely amazing and the most wonderful experience we have ever had on a holiday. The complete staff consists of professionals in both hospitality and environment. We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was absolutely beautiful and romantic. The food was off... More

Sabi Sabi is a great place for safaris and there are several lodges to pick from. Our view is that you should ignore the ratings because it is more important to pick the lodge that will suit you. Selati was perfect for us - small and cosy, just a dozen or so guests, beautiful cottages, excellent food. Some of the... More

THIS IS IT. If what you are looking for is the absolute best wildlife viewing in Africa (both because of the plethora and diversity of animals, and the astounding skill of the rangers/trackers to find them), in the utmost luxury in a setting that harkens back to the early days of European exploration on the continent, all while being surrounded... Having stayed at both Sabi Sabi, Selati Lodge and Exeter River lodge I can endorse the views of many previous submissions. They are both excellent 'camps' with well trained and very friendly staff. Selati focuses on being rustic, whilst retaining its upmarket credentials. Whereas Exeter River Lodge is more lavish and luxurious, but the staff retain warmth and homeliness. On... More

We decided on a safari in South Africa a few years ago, and Sabi Sabi was recommended by close friends as the best experience. They were right...breathtaking beauty and outstanding environment. Selati Lodge was perfect for us (Suite One). Breakfast through dinner were very good, bordering on excellent most of the time. Service is highly professional, quiet and efficient. But... More

We (5 adult family members) just completed 3 days at Selati Camp in Sabi Sabi. We were much impressed with the attention to detail; our every need was addressed and then some. We had Donald for tracking and Eve as a guide. Eve in particular was spectacular when it came to guide skills, knowledge and driving. We were lucky to... More
