What an amazing experience! Cheetah plains was truly amazing. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left, the complete staff was so friendly, warm and fun. We had lots of laughs en nice conversations with the staff. The food was great and the accomodation perfect. You're really in between the animals and nature, very relaxing environment. We are... Cheetah Plains was amazing!! I'll never forget this experience, and would highly recommend it to anyone (already have, in fact, to my family)! I spent 4 days in mid February here, and it was absolutely wonderful. I'll start with the drives, which are, of course, the most important part of a safari: I was there for 4 days, and saw... More

We had a brilliant time at Cheetah Plains, not only did we get to see the big five the accomodation was lovely and the staff amazing. Our tracker (Andrew) was the nicest most gentlemanly and knowledgable fellow you could ever meet and went out of his way to make the safari experience a positive and lasting memory. The food and... We visited Cheetah Pains for the second time immediately after Christmas with high hopes after a great initial visit and we were not disappointed at all. Despite all the very welcome rains our visit absolutely surpassed everything we expected and hoped for. The service at the lodge was exceptional with everybody taking great care of our very elderly Mother who... More

We spent 4 days here in mid November. The lodge was great (room 8 with an outside shower) with a patio that looked out on to the bush where we could see dwarf mongooses playing and impala grazing whilst spotting the most amazing birds. Our driver Andrew was a knowledgable and courteous guide who found us some amazing animals -... More

We spent four nights at Cheetah Plains in mid November, and from our arrival through to our departure we were looked after superbly. All the staff were attentive, friendly, courteous, very helpful and good fun to be around. The lodge itself was great. The main areas were spotlessly clean, and evening meals were round the camp fire under candle-light -... More

Cheetah Plains met all our expectations. The game drives were awesome, the service excellent. We loved our rooms (especially the outdoor shower) and the food and drink were great. The moment we had our welcome drinks in our hands the elephants showed up at the waterhole and it was a perfect beginning to a wonderful stay. Thanks to all the... More

We ended a four week stay in South Africa during August with three nights at Cheetah Plains - and what a way to end a fabulous holiday.
