As you may think is located in a reserve and there has a lot of lions nearly, but also has a nice infrastructure to explore this undiscovered and new secure reserve place. The hotel has large rooms and a nice and modern furniture, that in harmony with the environment could make you feel grateful to be there!

1933 Lodge is wonderful. It was booked for us by Lisa Liprini at Go2Africa. We asked Lisa to organise a family holiday to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary and an engagement. We could not have asked for better. She listened to us and made sure it was a holiday we will all remember forever. We ended it with four nights... More

The 1933 lodge is exquisite. For some reason we were offered an upgrade from the River Lodge, which in itself was lovely. The privacy from other groups made this a special treat. The staff was tremendous. We had our own butler and chef. The game drives were outstanding. Our guide was patient and served a terrific gin and tonic in... More

What a wonderful lodge with exceptional service and delicious dining and cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and appreciated all efforts made by the staff. It was evident that the staff's first concern was the safety, comfort and happiness of each guest. Our guide was knowledgeable, teaching us about all the animals we saw. Our accommodations were lovely and comfortable.

We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to the 1933 lodge. We were originally booked at Lion Sands Ivory lodge but on account of the damage caused by the floods in January the Ivory Lodge wasn't ready in time and so we got upgraded to this exclusive property. There were just 3 of us but the entire lodge was for... More

I agreed with the previous review - I was speechless at arrival. First of all this was a private lodge with 4 detached suites. It was very different from the other lodges run by the Lion Sands. The entire staff from butler (Lucas) to chef (Gladys) was there for our group. So it's totally private in every sense. Lucas made... More

Our family of 5 (teen & adults) stayed in the Lion Sands 1933 Lodge. There are not words to describe this place! Seriously. All I can say is, the pictures on the website do not do it justice. It is just breathtaking. Our whole stay was fabulous. Great game drives, wonderful staff and service! We saw an abundance of wildlife,... More
