We stayed in the Casita, a very nice three room cabin that is dog-friendly. It even has a private enclosed back yard so you can let your dog out in the middle of the night if needed. There is a full kitchen, a living room and a bedroom. Everything was very clean, and the owner was friendly and helpful. There... More

My wife and I parked our 29' 5th wheel in one of four RV sites all of which were small and close but pleasant and quiet. Dan, the owner, was friendly, helpful and eager to please. We had WIFI but no cell service. (Verison might have worked) We stayed two nights but were only at the park to sleep. We... More

We stayed in the Cowboy Room, formerly the village barbershop, but nicely converted into a spacious, attractive, comfortable room. Had fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Sitting out on the porch gave a wonderful view of the Chricahua Mountains.Very well-priced at $68+tax. Greg, our host, was very nice, if a bit vague. Wish we'd stayed more than one night.

Comfortable, affordable, friendly small RV park in a convenient location for exploring all the Chiricahua Mountains has to offer, including birding and hiking in one of the most biodiverse areas in the United States. The RV park is right next to the lodge's cabins and laundromat, and is just a short walk to the Rodeo tavern and cafe/grocery store, both... More

Always wondered what it was like on Eastern side of Chiricahua Mtns. Is fantastic! Stayed at Mtn. Valley Lodge's RV area all to ourselves. Both 30 & 50 A full hookups for good price. New owner Dan is a great guy and the place has laundry room and nice surroundings. This location is great for day trips into the Cave... More

We rented a cabin for 4 days while we went birding in the Cave Creek Canyon area. The cabin was clean and comfortable with one bedroom, a living room and a small dining nook. Unfortunately there was no stove so we had to go out for dinners and that was a bit of a challenge in Rodeo. The local pub... More

We had no idea where we were going to stay when I googled motels for that area. Fortunately the other places I called were to expensive or did not pick up. Mountain Valley Lodge's owner Di Ann was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable and the view incredible. I would love to go back sometime and... More

We stayed in the Cowboy Room, which was decorated accordingly. The room and bath were nicely updated. There was also a small kitchen area with a refrigerator and microwave. It sits close to a road, but there is little traffic, so it wasn't an issue. The owner was very helpful and friendly. It was our favorite of the places we... More

We stayed here a week and were so comfy we could have stayed longer. We had originally booked the La Casita but Di Ann knew there was going to be a checkout the day we were checking in so she offered to upgrade us for free to the La Paloma so she wouldn't be rushed to clean. We took the... More
