This lodge was exactly what we needed for our family of four. Such a beautiful property, and so family friendly. We had a lot of room and we're hoping to come back for years to come! Our children loved playing outside in the snow and the wildlife was amazing!! Very clean accommodations and having the kitchenette was very convenient.

We were there for Thanksgiving weekend (Wednesday thru Saturday). Beginning of ski season. Staff was great. Stayed in three bedroom, two bath, with kitchen and fireplace. Very clean. Free wifi available. Ski lifts were three blocks away. Christmas Tree lighting on Thanksgiving evening was excellent. Granddaughter remarked "she had never met Mrs. Claus before!" Lodge is next to river but... More

We were there in the off season. That's usually when we try to hit the ski resort areas in New Mexico. It's much cheaper and no crowds. No waits for dinner. We've gone to Red River for 30+ years and never stayed at the Copper King Lodge. That was our loss! What a great little place. Spotlessly clean. Streamside. Quiet.... More

This was a great idea to stay here. This had a great location by the river with comfortable beds, a kitchenette, with free wifi available . The only down fall was there was no A/C. Didn't need it though at night. No free breakfast was available but the front clerk suggested some good places to eat. I would definitely stay... More

Recently ventured to Red River for the first time to celebrate a life event and a quick get away. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. The location is wonderful with river views, and all the outdoor extras you could think of to make the visit special and uniquely yours. Even visits from the deer, rabbits, chipmunks and ducks! The... This place is just perfect! Yhe owners are super friendly, rooms and grounds are spotless. My family of 6 including grandparents and a toddler stayed for 4 nights and never once missed home. We rented a cabin and adjoining double queen room which gave us 4 beds total, 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. Each room had a dvd player... More

We (4) stayed one week in Rm #17, it was perfect, twin beds for our adult boys and a queen for me and my honey. Kitchen was remarkable, just the right size for cooking breakfast and dinner. The look from the living room out at the River was AMAZING!!!!! The deer came up several times a day eating out of... More

We had a very nice stay at the Copper King Lodge. The location is excellent and the staff was so very nice. At this lodge you walk out the door and there is the beautiful Red River. We looked forward to visiting with them when they checked on our needs each day.

We had a great room and a wonderful experience staying at the Copper King Lodge. The rooms were immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable and the linens soft. The corner fireplace was an added bonus. Our view was beautiful. With the window open, we could hear the RR below! We will definitely stay there again. We hope to return in... More
