We have always (!) stayed at Rio Colorado Lodge every year for 9+ days. The cabins are rustic, but remodeled & modernized. Rustic fits this wonderful mountain town! Brian & Tawnya and their staff are VERY helpful, very knowledgeable about the area. My husband fell the 2nd day we were there, and tore 2 tendons & his rotator cuff, so... More

we stayed in cabin 21 during our ski trip in Jan 2014. VERY clean, cozy, full kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals. Walking distance to main street. Pet friendly for our fury family members. Definitely staying here again!! Hopefully take a summer trip this year!

Checked in on 12/22 and checked out on 12/27. When I called back in October to make the reservations I was very impressed with the process and how helpful they were. Not only were they helpful in selecting the right type of cabin they offered information on the town of Red River, Ski shop information and Skiing information. We arrived... More

Myself, Wife and 4 year old daughter just spent a long weekend at the Rio Colorado Lodge (cabin 5). We were there with 13 other friends who have stayed their several times but this was our first. I have been to NM several times snow skiing but never in Red River and never during the summer months. When we go... More

Stayed at Rio Colorado 1 bedroom cabin during the Red River Songwriter's Festival. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the Motherlode Saloon. The cabin was clean and cozy. It is rustic so don't expect it to be a Ramada, but it was comfortable and I like being able to cook some meals rather than eat out so much.... More

To describe our stay...extremely unsettling, embarassing & regretted! On saturday night some friends of ours who were staying at Bandana properties stopped by to say hello & had been there for no more than 15 minutes. Our guests had with them their 10lb puppy whom they mistakenly let out of the cabin for no more than 10 minutes. When they... More

Worst experience with management ever!!! My wife and I stopped by to visit a couple friends at their cabin, we had been there no more than 15 minutes, within that time we let our small 10 pound puppy out to use the bathroom. After a few minutes we opened the door to let the dog back in, and shortly after... More

Just spent our second Christmas at Rio Colorado Lodge, and planning for next year. Friendly people, clean rooms. Love the daily trek of deer and rabbits.Thinking about adding a summer stay this year! Close enought to all the town activities, but secluded and quiet. Our kind of place!

What a great, clean rustic lodge. The perfect get away! Great views and the river ran in front of our cabin. We chose the most secluded cabin since and it was awesome. Deer came walking by, wild daisy's grew in the yard and we were nestled at the bottom of the mountains. We grilled fresh trout that was caught at... More
