The man who ran the camp ground is a HATEFUL person that should not be working in this environment. I felt like I was in a prison and not an enjoyable camping environment.. Would not recommend this campground! Dirty water hole in the middle of the camp ground. Poor shade. Just keep going to a place where they know how... More

Such a wonderfully accommodating staff. Super clean bathroom and showers. Having our tent right next to the river was a dream come true. We can't wait to go to River Ranch again and again! Thanks Sharon and Jim and Marc...you are friendly and helpful camp hosts.

Nice accommodations with spot next to the river. Nice walkable park, lots of activities and very close to Red River. Downside was a lot of kids running in and out of anyone's site and being noisy early in the morning. If we had our grandchildren with us it would have been much better. It was July 4, 2014 holiday and... More

We are recently retired & have stayed here a few times before but service was above & beyond. You are immediately met upon entry by a golf cart waiting to take you to the office. The park is almost entirely run by volunteer park host from all over. I was even picked up & delivered to the laundry room that... More

A very warm, cosy and character filled place to stay with lovely views of the lake. We had a small leak in a bathroom but were made aware of it and it never dampened our spirits and staff were friendly and apologetic, giving us extra towels. A basically equipped kitchen with cooker and some utensils. Lovely walks around the forest... More

We stayed over the weekend. We arrived on Friday evening and the host led us to our spot, River #5. There have been some complaints from people about the hosts being rude...I didn't experience that at all. I think they are like anybody else, if you are nice, they'll be nice. If you aren't nice, don't expect them to take... More

Been camping for 30 years never been to a place like this! They pick and choose who they like and if they don't like you your screwed! Other than that it's good if you like hot concrete, traffic noise, tight camping spots, rude host's, and hand cuffed from enjoying yourself! Go there then leave a post saying you told me... More

Great place was there June 4-11!! The office personnel very helpful and friendly. Watched them drive around with someone three times to find the right spot for their rig!! They walk around interacting with everyone! Great atmosphere and beautiful surroundings!! Got a place right by the river and could hear the rippling river from our bed!! Great experience again as... I cannot say anything nice about this RV park except the water pressure was good and the 50 amp electrical is new and reliable. The staff is surly and lazy...the weeds are like going on safari and the staff does not do grounds keeping. They hire it out when they can afford to hire someone. The campsites are so rocky... More

Terrible place and rude staff!! Do not stay there. The staff is so pushy, they drive around their golf carts and at you. It was the worst experience ever. They would tell the kids to be quiet. It might be ok if you go there and just sleep. This was a terrible experience. The facility was not even nice. The... More
