The room we got had two beds and a bathroom. That's it. There was one kitchen for the whole hotel and this already threw me off. It is also placed quite out of town so we had to drive into town rather then walk when you stay at other hotels more inside the town.

Before heading to Red River, we booked a condo at Golden Eagle Lodge online. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The owners were very friendly and laid back. We arrived in town around 8 am, but check in wasn't until 3pm. However, they had no problem letting us pick up keys and check in early (probably because it was... More

Stayed 5 nights in with a large family group (9 people + 1 small dog) in Room 9. The rooms were clean. Kitchen had adquate cabinet space, large refrigerator, small stove with oven and microwave (everything worked). Plenty of fresh, clean towels each day. Garbage bag was picked up each day. Satellite TV did go out once during heavy snowfall.... More

We rented a two bedroom unit for a last minute ski trip. The price was much better than anything else we looked at. We stayed at the Elk Ridge Lodge part of the property. We arrived after the office was closed. Our key was in the drop box along with instructions, a list of activities going on in town that... More

Have never stayed in such a dirty, nasty, smelly place like Golden Eagle Lodge. So disappointed, stayed in room 15, and there were mice droppings and mice traps all over. The towels were so dingy and had a musty smell, that we had to go buy some in the next town over. When my wife went to talk to manager... More

Stayed at Elk Ridge part of this motel room #32 over Christmas Holiday. This place has outdated amenities from 40 years ago, including Vintage Magnavox TV-model year circa 82', that possibly has a historic value, lights are chained to walls and ceilings, 1 reading light with king size bed, Wi-Fi not working in this room, or anywhere unless you are... This is a place for folks who are there with thei atv'sor snow mobiles. A place you can walk in without taking off your muddy shoes. Not a place for people who like amenities like good light for reading or a hair dryer or fresh towels on the rack. This is a bare essentials kind of place--bed, fridge, microwave and... More

My son titled this review. These cabins (#23 specifically) were so out dated and dirty I would never recommend anyone to spend their money here. We have visited Red River before and had wonderful hotel experience in the past but man this really put a downer on our trip. The place made me cringe. I didn't even want to sit... More

A great place to stay in Red River. I have stayed here for many years. We stayed in July and as usual the accommodations were as usual. Clean and comfortable and not far from town. We checked out early in the morning to attend a family reunion. After dinner that evening we were headed out of town and I realized... More

The rooms in general in Red River are too expensive. The whole idea is to pay for that rustic cabin atmosphere, it's a throw back to something that was built 30-40 years ago, only update is satellite tv. Could hear the person snoring in the next room. Showering at 11pm. Parking is tight, another vehicle parked 6 inches away from... More
