A whole bunch of bang for our buck, my wife stayed at this lodge 3 nights, no its not the nicest I've ever stayed in, however its more bang for the buck then I've ever had in any hotel I've ever stayed in, and the icing on the cake is the owners John and his wife were absolutely fantastic country... Very perceptive. We don't want to be the fanciest lodge in town, only the cleanest and most responsive. We just try to provide good value in our accommodations and friendly surroundings.. JP More

This is the first time we have been disappointed in a property so highly recommended on Trip Advisor. I fully agree with Larry W's review. Location good and pretty quiet and the kitchen well stocked, but not much else. The office was flanked by an unkempt storage area, the beds and bedding were old and saggy, no toiletries or blow dryer... We have made it clear, that we don't enter guests rooms. I'm not sure if they just wanted our cleaning crew to go by and say "hi" or what. As regards the bedding, we have mostly new sheets, pillows, pillow cases, and mattress protectors. The bed spreads and pillow shams were also replaced very recently. Ya think Penny's or Cabela's... Great lodge! Owners were helpful to answer questions about rooms before we booked. Extremely nice people. Room was nice for our family of 4. Located just past ski lift but still close enough to walk into town. Will return. Thanks!

This location is great and gets you close to everything. But that's about it for this self serve motel. It is safe and easy to access for red river. Don't expect your room to be stocked w towels, TP or anything else. My advice is to pass on this motel.

I'm not sure what the gripe is. The room was stocked with TP, coffee, towels, etc., when they arrived. The normal procedure, explained, is that you leave your towels in a chair outside your door by 10AM, and they will be replaced. We do not go in occupied rooms. This person caught me in the laundry room around 10, dirty... More

I loved the rustic, cabin feel of the lodge. Very nice owner. We stayed 3 nights and it was very pleasant. I would definitely stay there again. My husband left his watch and the owner very kindly mailed the watch back to us at no charge.

This place is nestled out of the way and quiet. The owners are very friendly and housekeeping made sure I had everything I needed. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a place to lay your head and not pay an arm and a leg to do so.

We just had our first annual family reunion at the Arrowhead Lodge! Wonderful! JP and Debbie are great hosts, made us feel welcome and they are very accommodating down home folks! Loved the peaceful, rustic setting. We rented the whole place for our family of 39....kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. All fell in love with the home in the mountains,... More

If you are looking for piece and quiet this is a nice place. Just a short walk to Main Street and all of the great places to eat. It is a old motel but they keep it maintained and were doing work while we are here. Rooms are clean but kind of dark but when you are in Red a... More

We stayed for 4 nights, and absolutely loved it. We were upgraded for free to a room with a kitchen, and it was great. Plenty of space for everything we needed and all of our snowboarding gear. The owners are wonderful, and very friendly and helpful. We won't stay anywhere else but here when we come back. Awesome location for... More
