Very friendly check-in, correct reservation. This hotel is old and is in need of remodeling, but it is fairly clean. The bed was a bit more firm than I liked, but sheets were clean. The bathroom was fine. The only thing I was a bit concerned about is the carpet in the room. It was quite dirty and warn, so... More

We were staying a few days in Raton, New Mexico and after having stopped off at a motel that was inexpensive but dingy and at the Best Western where rates started at $139 we went across the street to the Sands. The rate was $67. The room was big with 2 queen beds. It was clean and there was a... More

Stayed at this motel overnight on our way to Colorado. We got a king room that was very spacious and clean. Very quiet and slept very good. Staff very friendly.

Stayed here for two nights in June 2012. We had travelled down from Denver, to go to Capulin Volcano. Checked in O.K. Nice lady on the reception. Booked a two queen deluxe room, on the value club, easy to join, and you get the discount on the room, a good money saving tip we used. The room itself was big,... More

This facility was our second choice because they do allow pets. They do not however mention online that they charge $20 extra for the pet and that the room is a room that other pets have been in. The room was clean except that on one wall you could see where someone had spilled what appeared to be coffee, also you... More

We were very pleased with the facility. The breakfast room and breakfast were great. My only suggestion would be that management clean the carpet in the hallway in the Luxury wing.It gives a false impression of what may lie ahead. Our room was very clean and spacious.

After reading the reviews, we decided to give this a try. Even though it is older, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room large and clean. We would stay here again.

We arrived about 1:00a.m. coming from Arizona; my husband was beat. I want to make sure my four children was very comfortable and this Inn provided just that. The night guy was very nice. He lock the front door and brought over a roll cought for my son to add to our two king size bed room. Breakfast was just... More

We got a corner family room. The outside looks a bit run down but the room was very clean. The beds were comfy but the sofa couch were beat up and lumpy. Breakfast was good enough for us. 3 or 4 different cereal, coffee, milk, toast, fruit and bear claws. The employees were very kind and helpful. The price was... More

Stayed here because of very high prices at the usual chains we stay in. About half the price of the mid level chains. Good towels, very large rooms, quiet, and convenient and the staff from front desk to mains were very polite and helpful. Would stay again.
