This is the second time that I have stayed at this Mom and Pop motel. As was the first, it was a great stay. Large, clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent restaurant next door owned by the same people.

This is a very reliable stop, and a good value for the money. Our room was large and clean but somewhat outdated. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet! We did not use the in-room microwave and small refrigerator. The restaurant (The Oasis Motel and Restaurant) has always been a good reliable breakfast stop for us. They open at... More

I agree. The photo posted is misrepresentation of this property... but I have images and will soon set things straight. No doubt, these are some fairly Spartan digs. I am also sure there are other, more engaging and expensive lodging options in Raton. It would be hard to stay here with children... no pool... no place to play... no vending... More

Unless they've done a complete remodel within the last year the photo for this motel is very deceptive!!! The rooms we have stayed in look nothing like this!!! My husband competes in a rifle competition near Raton & has stayed in this motel for several years...it has never looked like this photo!!

We have stayed there for our trips to and from Silverton, Lake City, and have always been clean and Safe place to leave a fully loaded truck, fishing, camping, Canned food goods and gear, no one has ever missed with our gear. Also a lot of Hunters, Fishermen, and even 1000 yd Rifle Shooter's with very High Dollar Equipment. Don,t expect... More

My son and I were passing through Raton on our way to ski wolf creek. We wanted a clean, reasonably priced room. The Oasis Motel was perfect! The little dinner on the property had a delicious supper and breakfast. Wonderful experience all the way around!!!

When you only need a cheap and clean place to stay when traveling through NE New Mexico, this will do the trick. $59 for a large room with a queen bed. Very dated furnishings and decor. Pink shag carpeting. Somewhat threadbare linens and minimum "extras" (no box of kleenex, shampoos or such). But the place was clean and smelled fresh.... More

The Oasis is a so-so kind of place. Clean but not too clean, comfortable but not too comfortable (no king sized beds, sheets a little threadbare). The rooms tended to be good-sized but dark and dreary. They do allow pets, though. Which is nice. There is a restaurant on premises that we ate at once. That was enough. I have... More
