The BEST burger you will ever eat. My kid had steak fingers...chicken fingers, but made with beef! Never got a bite of my kid's cinnamon roll for dessert, he said it was the best ever! Waitress was nice too! Stopped only for the food...if I need to would stay there next time, then I would have to eat 2 meals... More

The other reviewer have not lied - this place is tops! No traffic No contrails No internet I'm on am astronomy pilgrimage across the southwest and a necessary route (that I was very looking forward to) was from Alamogordo ("fat cottonwood tree", I now know) to either Tucson or Flagstaff, and I was winging it. However, I did TA options... More

Cold and wet from a thunderstorm, pulled in at the first sign of food. The outside wasn't much and the inside was basic. But the waiter came over and was super friendly, the menu choices impressive, and the food really good. The salad bar surprised me as it looked small and basic, but had marinated artichoke hearts and a berry... More

You must not miss this spot when traveling thru Quemado, New Mexico. We only checked out the cafe. At least 3 locals stopped to chat with us. The coffee was the best I have had in a restaurant in a long time. The pies are made on site. The breakfast burrito was outstanding. Pancakes were light and fluffy and entire... More

There was no true office for the motel, so had to go into the cafe to register, ask questions, and check out. Motel was small but nice for the price. The cafe in front of the motel, within walking distance, had good food.

We have been on a long trek stopping at many different cafes along the way. This place has really good burgers, patty melts and the burritos looked good too. Service is lacking but every place we have stopped this has been the case. Bathroom was fairly clean and like I said much better than lots of other places we have... More

Good food, clean place, interesting proprietor. Nice looking hotel next door. I would stop here again. That says it all. The rest is filler to meet Trip Advisor's ridiculous 200 character requirement.

Stopped in while riding the CDT on motorcycle. Resturant was a busy place with great food. Rooms have been updated and was clean and comfortable. No wifi in rooms but good signal in the cafe. Good service and good food!

Nobody would answer the phone, let alone open a door to check in! Ended up sleeping in vehicle, as too tired from driving to safely continue. No sign indicating the hotel was full, but cannot imagine it was, as there were a total of 3 vehicles parked in the parking lot. No way to leave a message even on the... More

Traveling through to Phoenix, stopped here overnight. For being in the middle of nowhere it was very busy and even though it was mid-week the motel got completely booked, so make a reservation if you can. Only complaint is that our TV did not work. Staff came and tried it also and nothing. (We did get a little discount for... More
