This hotel is nothing but a headache. First of all they charge things to your credit card with ther card holders authorization and dont even try to ask for a manager because apparently no one knows when they are going to come in plus they will give you attitude. They were not friendly and their customer service was awful!!! Maybe... more

This motel is pretty basic. The bed was ok, the carpet fairly clean, the front desk staff polite, and the breakfast acceptable. Nothing really special stands out...it wasn't amazing, but certainly wasn't horrible either. First off there are very few places to stay in Portales and if you have the time I would recommend staying in Clovis instead. When I entered the door my lungs were immediately assulted by the strong aroma of cigarette smoke, which I suppose is not a bad thing if you are a smoker. The room was clean and basic... more

This property is pretty tired. However, the room was relatively clean, the rate affordable ($60) and the staff friendly. Complaints include the fact that the tub came with a few hairs, the walls were thin, and the room smelled of industrial strength cleaning products. There was a fridge and microwave. more

I found this motel to be extremely clean. Like the other review, it is simple, but all you need for an overnight stay. The breakfast has been improved . . .ceral, juice, fruit, etc. Also, they have wireless internet for free! more

It wasn't fancy, but it WAS a clean room, with a decent bed, and a good shower (good pressure, shower was wide enough, non-clinging curtain, well-drained). A pleasant surprise! Don't expect more than a doughnut and coffee for breakfast, though. more
