Our fourth stay was just as wonderful as always! Home away from home with a view of the Jemez Mountains...who could ask for more? Comfort, space, ambiance, privacy, relaxation, history, close to everything, yet far away from craziness. I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else while in the Los Alamos / Santa Fe area. Christmastime at Rancho Jacona was enchanting!... More

What a wonderful place! We have stayed at Rancho Jacona three times in the past three years and rented the Turtle House each time. The property is absolutely beautiful. My family loves visiting the burros and goats in the mornings. They love carrots and mango peels! We have always visited in March and enjoyed warm, sunny weather as well as... More

We have been to Rancho Jacona many times since discovering it four years ago. Like others, we have been there as a couple, with family and friends, and hosted my mother's 80th birthday reunion there. We have never, ever had a bad experience there. We have been there in May, August, December, and will be back in the very near... More

Big thumbs up in agreement with all the other positive reviews. Two of us just spent a lovely relaxed four days here in mid November. The folks were available during office hours, hospitable and helpful, but we really had lots of privacy, which was great. The brilliant night skies were a treat, as was the ascorbically written and hugely informational... More

I have stayed at Rancho Jacona numerous times since they first opened. I have traveled with various friends, a family reunion, alone with the hubbie, with the family ....and each trip is more amazing than the last even when I think it can't be possible. The location is right off a main highway but feels like you are tucked away... More

Our extended family reserved several casitas here for a family reunion recently. We brought our 2 year old son who was absolutely in tears when it was time to leave. This place is wonderful! Every casita is like a southwestern style home with all the conveniences of home (microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washer and dryer). I was impressed at how... More

We had a group of 10 people, all friends from different areas of the country who wanted to visit Santa Fe. We wanted a place more in the country instead of an urban setting and Rancho Jacona fit the bill perfectly. We stayed in Frog House. It is a beautiful home with all the amenities. We liked the open floor... More

We have stayed at Rancho Jacona 5 or 6 times, this time with another couple. Each time the stay has been perfect, whether with extended family, just as a couple, with our son or whoever. The comments of others have pretty much covered the waterfront as far as the many positive qualities of the place. Lovely setting and housing ("casitas"),... More

Our extended family of 14 (ages 13-84) stayed at Rancho Jacona from May 26-31, 2011. We rented both the Butterfly House and the Frog House - they were both unique and perfect for our needs. The Butterfly House had 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and the Frog House had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Everyone had a very private retreat... More

We spent a wonderful week at Rancho Jacona in the Piglet Casita. Easy day trips to Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Taos.... Casita was clean, well stocked, quiet plenty of parking nice to have access to washer & dryer. We had breakfast (eggs from the chickens) in the amazing garden of peonies with the 3 cats & 10 peacocks. Then fed... More
