Words can not express our positive experience at Lake Roberts Motel. Mr. and Mrs. Zamora are loving Christian people who have poured a lot of love and consideration into their motel. The room was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and comfortable. The bed was just right, and it is peaceful and quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay!

Joe and Sarajean Zamora are charming, accommodating and extremely kind hosts. I enjoyed meeting and spending time with them. A special plus that is hard to find elsewhere is the number of animals - rabbits, cats, chickens and dog who also share the property. They are delightful and definitely an attraction for those animal-lovers among us. The setting is lovely... More

Stayed here one night before setting off on a backpack trip. Pleasantly surprised at the nice, clean room and friendly, accommodating owners. The gazebo is nice, the room is equipped with fridge, microwave, etc. wifi works great. Highly recommended.

We just recently finished a two month, 9000 mile trip through most of the lower states. Our country is unusually beautiful, as is the area around this motel, but what really enhances your experience are the special people you meet along the way. The owners of Lake Roberts Motel are two of these people. Joe and SaraJean Zamora are friendly,... More

This place is awesome. The rooms have been remodeled to look and feel modern and clean, with real solid wood furniture and lovely southwestern decor. We were very pleasantly surprised at how nice our room was (we got #4, smallest room). They turned the space heaters on early for us, so the room was nice and cozy when we arrived... More

We took a chance on this motel and were very happy with the outcome. Large comfortable room with nice table and chairs, southwest style decorations, nice tile in bathroom, free phone, wifi, Dish TV, frig, micro, king bed. What else do you need? It's obvious that the owners put a lot of care into maintaining this property. It's got a... More

Proprietors, Joe and SaraJean said, "We are not Comfort Inn". I AGREE, Comfort Inn treats their guest with respect and provides the hospitality for a return stay. My recent vacation here was for 2 nights and 3 quest. At the time of reserving the cabin it was made clear that we were camping at Lake Roberts and needed the facilities... More

Small, slow-paced motel in a beautiful, remote location. The proprietors, Joe and Sara Jean, live on premises. They are decent, fascinating people, and attentive to every detail. Strongly recommended.

We stayed during the week 2 years ago during the big summer fires. It was a great time to go and meet a lot of nice people. We felt very safe there because 75% of the people in the area were firefighters. The owners of this little motel were super nice.We kind of like to be left alone when we get to... More

This establishment has great people running it. I felt so welcomed like I never left home. The place itself is very clean and well maintained. Definitely recommend it to get away from city routine and enjoy country living. God bless you Joe and your family for taking care of us. Martin (aka chuck lol).
