This was my first bed & breakfast stay, we loved it. It was only for a night but would definitely stop by again. Mesilla is a pretty town with unique places to visit. The house was just as in the pictures, nice and clean. Sophie and her dog are very nice!

Stopped by on short notice while in Mesilla and this bed and breakfast surpassed all expectations. Not only did Rosie take us in last minute, but she also provided us with an incredible (and VERY comfortable) room in a beautiful, quaint setting. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in quite some time. Debating going back to Mesilla just... More

If you are expecting to be coddled, waited on hand and foot, and have someone at your beck and call 24/7...don't go to Rosie's. If you want a great place to stay - someplace that feels like your house - get yourself there. The freedom of staying at Rosie's is a wonderful thing. Rosie's is a 2 minute walk from... More

We picked Casa de Rosie from an internet search--what a jewel!! Great rooms and common areas. Breakfast?? Wonderful. Rosie went out of her way to help us. On very short notice, we planned a small wedding & held it in the courtyard. It was wonderful--everyone loved it, and I would not have changed anything. Rosie helped us tremendously but in... More

We had a memorable one night stay at Rosie`s. She was so accomodating and gracious. We loved the casita. She gave us helpful suggestions for dinner and drinks in Messilla then made us the best breakfast ever in the morning.

Rosie is a very nice lady who certainly did her best to make us feel welcome, which we did! I really liked the house, it was small and cozy. The rooms were nice, very clean and comfy beds. It is in a perfect location, just a few minutes walk from the town with the shops and the restaurants. Above all,... More

A few of my favorite features of this B&B include Rosie and her very welcoming spirit, her wonderful dog Jasmine, the internal courtyard, and the very comfortable and quiet sleeping quarters. The breakfast was also excellent.

Hello. I stayed in Rosie's casita for four nights in August. A fantastic small house within the cortile of the big house itself, relaxing sound of the fountain outside (where you can sit under umbrellas and see hummingbirds dipping a drink in the day). The glasses of wine Rosie provides to welcome each guest is also a very nice touch.... More

Beware! The place does not look like the pictures posted. We visited in March and the courtyard was dirty and filled with containers of dead flowers. We were in the casita- there was not a coffee maker, the central heat and ac did not work, the stove and fireplace did not work, two overhead lights were burned out, and it... More

Traveling from Galveston to Phoenix after a cruise we spent two nights in this great little B&B - Rosie was a fantastic hostess - breakfast was ''delious" - homemade jam was a wonderful addition - we stayed in the Master Bedroom - exceeded our expectations - could not have chosen a better place - we will be return visitors!!!!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casa de Rosie is just one mile from Highway 10 and only a half mile from Las Cruces. This is a beautiful bed and breakfast in historic old Mesilla, it is located about 100 steps from the Plaza and the Basilica of San Albino. This Bed and Breakfast has the distinction of being walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Old Mesilla, while still secluded and quiet. It is close to all the great restaurants of Old Mesilla, La Posta, The Double Eagle, Andele's, the Bean, and many more. Furthermore, Casa de Rosie is situated just down the street from the Rio Grande and the "Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park" (1.5 miles to the Park). Casa de Rosie (Rosie's Home) is situated on an acre of ground with an orchard in front providing privacy and solitude for our guests. In the rear it is located right on the "Acequia", the canal that brings water from the Rio Grande. The dirt paths of the canal are perfect for those who like to run or walk for miles along the orchards and farmlands of the Mesilla Valley. Perfect for the most avid bird-watchers. Casa de Rosie is located on Calle del Norte (Highway 359) one of the few roads that cross the Rio Grande. Also, the Mesilla Bed and Breakfast is located on the major North South migratory routes of many bird species. The just opened Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park is just one mile away. ... more   less
