If you want to enjoy the quirky charm of historic Mesilla that is located in the Las Cruces area, consider staying at this Casa. It's located two blocks north of the attractive central Plaza where there are many fascinating shops, bars, and La Posta, the well known TexMex restaurant. Rosie will greet you and show you into this large hacienda... More

My experience at Rosie's was less idyllic than that of most reviewers. Most disappointing: having reserved the casita well ahead of time, I learned the day after check-in (and payment) that the stove in the kitchen you see in the photos is not functional. (Neither is the fireplace, but that was of less importance to me.) I had hoped to... More

Hmm It was my understanding that your were told that the stove in the Casita was not equipped to do a large dinner there and you were offered my big kitchen as a better alternative. I double checked the cleanliness and did not find a problem. It's unfortunate that you and I seemed to be frustrated with each other as... More

We stayed at Casa de Rosie for the second time. We walked to the town square and had very good dinner. The atmosphere in the square is southwestern with all the adobe style buildings and the church at the end of the square. Mesillia, is right next to Las Cruces, but offers a small town look. We will stay again.

I would like to say this was the first B&B I have ever been to. And this experience was one of the most wonderful, Miss Rosey was a Wonderfull Hostess and we enjoyed her suggestions on where to eat and what to see which turned out to be advice that made this an even better experience. So if you are... More

This is such a good memory on our recent road trip. Clean, quaint, quiet and steps from the Mesilla Plaza. Our hostess, Rosie, was a delight AND a great cook. A courtyard fountain, pet friendly, easy parking. We hope to get back soon!

My husband and I were looking for a short get away this Veterans Day. My husband is the king of get-away planning and found a new experience for us! He surprised me with a booking to a B&B for the first time. Neither of us had ever stayed at a B&B, so I was excited/nervous for our first stay. I... More

This Veterans Day my wife and I wanted to experience something out of the norm. We wanted to do something we have never done before. B&B was on our bucket list. Done. Rosie is owner of this establishment. She is very friendly, welcoming and open person. I love that all reservations could be completed using my phone/internet. It was fast,... More

Our stay with Rosie was one of our most memorable trips. Rosie is engaging and welcoming. She has an intimate knowledge of the local culture and events and provides unique suggestions of sites to visit. She maintains a low profile, respects her guests' privacy, and is readily available when needed. Casa de Rosie features a comfortable, casual setting with authentic... More

Rosie's place is a short walk to local shopping and dining and she made us feel very welcome. We had plenty of privacy, a beautiful courtyard to relax in, and a delicious homemade breakfast. All the amenities of home! We will definitely stay with Rosie again if we return to the area.
