We stayed here for a short visit as we were on our way home after a long road trip. The room was lovely as was the view of the lake, wish we had more time to walk around outside. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable I've had in a hotel. I got into the bed and just... More

We aren't gamblers so this review will not have anything to do with the casino. instead I and my husband went there for the evening buffet. My husband is a meat eater so he did not have good points about selections of steaks. I can live off of just about any type of food. Therefore in of the mountain God... More

First, the drive was beautiful through Ruidoso. My husband booked the room for my birthday and we stayed one night August 17th. When we arrived to check in the lobby was awesome. Very beautiful and roomy. Well at the time of check in we got miss information like we normally do at when booking at the Casino Resorts. Some want... More

Stayed at the resort from Aug 17 until August 21 for a golf/vacation. Beautiful facility however once you check in you are on your own. We had a lovely room with a view of the lake it was clean upon our arrival. During our stay the room was NEVER cleaned. I had to call for clean towels and soap every... More

Have stayed at the Inn many times. We always get a balcony room overlooking the lake. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Resort has a great buffet and a fun casino. Conveniently located just outside Ruidoso, NM on the Apache Indian Reservation. Resort has a wonderful golf course and boating is available on the lake. They have a nice indoor... More

I didn't stay or eat at Inn of The Mountain Gods, so this a casino only review. The casino was small compared to the size of the property. I've been to a lot of casinos and for all the hype I read before I left it just wasn't that great. Also I really dislike when casinos take machines that we're... More

We had a lakeside view that was beautiful. However, the A/C was noisy and the hallway noises carried into the room - not good. In addition, throughout the facility there apparently is a shortage of staff and therefore reduced attentiveness to customer needs - not good. These issues detract from an otherwise awesome property.

The rooms are spacious and well appointed. A bit dated but in good condition and clean. Two comfortable chairs for sitting and a large bathroom with excellent linens. Our room had a nice patio overlooking the lake so the views were great. Service was just so-so upon check in and throughout the stay. Valet parking was an issue with slow... More

Hotel rooms are nice and spacious, usually win on the slots, beautiful greens, small game room for kids, different good options. Nice place to visit. It's not a huge casino floor, but there are usually enough machines to choose from on any given night. There are also card games to play.

I remember the first time I spied lovely Mescalero lake, and the associated Inn. It was like I was plucked out of the ordinary, and transported to a lush verdant mountain wonderland. The proprietors always remembered me, and those that didn't always wore a smile either way, which was a nice touch. The gaming was always fun, as was the... More
