We had such a nice stay over the weekend at this cozy little place. We will definitely be coming back. The room was so nice and the staff working the coffee shop was so pleasant and helpful. We had such an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

We had a day or so to spend on the Turquoise Trail and so we took a shot at staying at this small bed and breakfast and it became a memorable highlight of our trip to New Mexico. The room is large and comfortable and well outfitted. The owner was all she should be. It was quiet and we had... More

I went to visit friends in Madrid and stayed here for the night. What a great place! Midway between Santa Fe and ABQ, in a quiet, relaxed town. Comfortable, clean, right in the center of town and newly remodeled they told me. The owners are really easy to work with and welcomed me with open arms. Lots of room for... More

Was on my way to the Paleoamerican Odyssey Conference in Santa Fe and wanted to arrange a guided tour of Mount Chalchihuitl in Cerrillos en route so decided to stay in Madrid (what few places are available in Cerrillos were booked). So if you know Madrid, there aren't a lot of lodging choices. Once I got to the Java Junction... More

We just spent four delightful days at this bed and breakfast. It is a perfect location for those interested in exploring the glories of Santa Fe and its surrounding area. It is a great launching point for day trips. The spacious studio has all the amenities of home along with a quiet and peaceful terrace. And the coffee and food... More

My husband, daughter (11) and I stayed one night here. They kindly added an air mattress for our daughter and it worked well. This mattress was high up, like a bed, and our daughter assured us she was very comfortable. The apartment is well equipped and is spacious. The outside sitting area is fantastic. The bathroom was large and the... More

A simple, nice and very clean studio apartment on the 2nd floor of an old clapboard house. The coffee shop is on the 1st floor, great pastries and coffee. Also a gift/clothing shop. The apt. has a great little enclosed patio attached. I totally enjoyed my stay here, really nice owners. Thanks! I ate at the Hollar, not much for... More

In spring 2013, a friend and I passed through Madrid on the way to Santa Fe, had a great lunch at the Mine Shaft, but not much time to do anything else. I made my way back to NM in Oct 2013 for a conference in ABQ and decided to tag a vacation on the end of it. On my... More

I wanted to clarify that we can make key arrangements for any guest arriving after 5:00 pm. And, we completely redecorated at the beginning of February this year, so when you're traveling through again, we hope you'll check out the new and improved room! Kind regards. More

Well designed upper apartment like place with Victorian furniture, full kitchen, deep claw tub and private comfy looking back porch. Arrived during Bluesfest and spent two hours at The Hollar during a flash flood storm. (awesome food). Wish we could have enjoyed a night on the porch listening to music and drinking wine, but it was a safe and cozy... More

but not a good place for food. The service is friendly, the coffee is good, they have free wifi, but they do not have good food options. They are the only place in town open for breakfast, but it's all pre-packaged not particularly healthful food stuffs. I have not stayed at the B&B. Go for the coffee.
