Happily surprised! I read the reviews and they weren't that great. I was unsure whether to drive to Hobbs to stay in a more name brand hotel, but in the end I decided to go for it and stay at the Lovington Inn. The front desk was very nice and friendly. The room was clean and well set up. It's... More

I spent a night while driving cross-country. Lovington is a farming and oil town on the Llano Estacado near the Texas border, so the traffic is mainly oilfield and farming contractor crews, not many tourists. Most other motels I drove by here looked pretty iffy, so I tried the Lovington Inn. No complaints, room was fine. Most of the contractor... More

I stay approximately 100 hotels a year. Never written a review but this one is horrible. All I want is a shower and a bed. For $74 it better offer both. No shower. Water came out at a tiny drizzle and was so hot it burned on the wash cloth. I mean if your looking to see what it was... More

The new owners are trying hard and the rooms are clean compared to the other hotels here and smell fresh, the free breakfast that guest get is not so free if you would like to eat in your room instead of a noisy café!

Tear it down! the worst place ever. Jacobo, K...that name is found in all rooms, and so is the stinch of ...rotten fish, and old shoes that comes from the jacobo room where they take care of business on a regular basis..This place is a regular home for hookers and drug dealers..any given day/night there doing there thing at Lovington... We appreciate your honesty, and to let you know, we have made a lot of changes to our hotel such as renovations to the rooms, and soon to the lobby. We have a new parking lot and we are under new management. We have also changed our restaurant owners who now serve a cajun style menu. So I hope that... More

We have had to stay at the Lovington inn in the past while visiting relatives nearby. It hasn't gotten any better over the years. The first night of our stay there were several drunk men in the parking area as there is a bar on the premises. The rooms are dingy and the carpet is gross. Noisy neighbors banging on... More

Arrived in town late in the evening and the other places we checked had no vacancies. The air conditioning barely worked. The security lock on the room door was ripped off. The grab bar in the bath tub had been broken off. All furniture was stained with cigarette burn marks on much of it. The people in the next room... More

Read previous reviews and blew them off. Will not make that mistake again. No hot water, water heater busted next to our room and room floor was soaking wet( No one bothered to check that) curtains did not work properly. Noise from the motel bar was so loud we could hear it up to 2:00 a.m. Stay away. Go immediately... More

The place needs a total restoration. Staff was helpful but they can only do so much. I will stay in Hobbs next time as there is newer properties. The rate was not bad but I will stay in Hobbs. There is a free breakfast that was OK.

Was setting up and working concert at the fair. So we had to stay at this motel. Was eaten alive by bed bugs. And ended up washing clothes everyday to try and kill them off. Two weeks after I got home I realized the darn bugs had stowed away somehow in my computer case or shoes or something. Now I... More
