We stopped at the Super 8 in Lordsburg, New Mexico on November 22 for a one night stay during a long drive. The hotel clerk told us that continental breakfast was included in the room rate for our two rooms. The rooms were pretty worn and needed maintenance but relatively clean. The "continental breakfast" consisted of a plastic bin with... more

Got to be the worst choice in Lordsburg. There is a $40/day independent next door which I would try before staying here again. Shower was poor, breakfast the stingyest I've ever seen. Super 8 and AAA need to look this dump over again. more

As others have said in these reviews, save your money and keep driving down the road even if it takes you another 5 hours before you can stay somewhere decent. We were on a cross-country moving journey and this was so we thought the best place to stop after another day of driving. What a joke this place is, and... more

We booked our reservations through Hotels.com. We were traveling from Dallas, TX to Anaheim, CA. We had car trouble in El Paso and didn't arrive at our projected time of 6:00 p.m. but arrived at 9:00 p.m. There was only one room left at the Super 8 and we didn't check it before going out to eat. We didn't get... more

Due to reasons of not being able to move into our place in Silver City for a week, we had to stay at the Super, or shall I say Nasty 8 for 5 days. Beds are uncomfortable, tv barely worked and the maids didnt wear shoes while working. EWWW. What do you expect from the bottom of NM. Plus the... more

The welcome to the motel was an open gas can and trash outside the entrance. Once inside, the stench of sewage/pipe tobacco greeted us. That was where the greeting ended however. The desk clerk eventually stirred to mutter something at us, and we explained we had a reservation, and that we requested top floor. His reply was "well you were... more

There hallway leading to the room smelled like there had been a sewage spill. They charged us about $70 for one night. My advice is to pull over at a rest stop and sleep for a couple of hours and then keep going. Shame on you Super 8. more

I was forced to stay in Lordsburg due to vehicle trouble. The room I got was actually clean and everything worked. The shower water flow was excellent. I only had two complaints: yes, it was overpriced (I was quoted 2 different rates for the same room by 2 different staff members), and the "breakfast" was comprised of some "fresh out... more

When I arrived at the Lordsburg Super 8, I had to speak first. There was no Hi, how can I help you, or anything like that. I asked if they had a first floor, non smoking room for two available. The answer was, "Everybody wants a first floor room". The man started typing away on the computer, never saying anything... more

Compared to other Super 8 Motels, this one rates a D- on a scale of A to F. The facility is overpriced, compared to others in the same area and features provided. Rooms smelled like mildew and the A/C couldn't be used because of the noise it caused. Fortunately, temperatures were only in the high 60s at night. Tiles in... more
