Stopped here for a cooling beer. Santa Fe brewery do some very nice ones. Sat outside overlooking the very pleasant Plaza. The barman, Zeke, was most helpful and suggested things to do here in the original Las Vegas. Thanks, Zeke!

Don't get confused, as some folks apparently do, between Las Vegas, New Mexico and Las Vegas, Nevada. The latter is a glitzy place with huge hotels and casinos, this place has The Plaza Hotel and is perhaps 800 miles away! Only dropped in for a lunchtime drink and sat outside which overlooks the central 'park' around which shops are situated.... More

This hotel had clean and spacious rooms, with lovely old decor. The beds were comfortable and the staff helpful. The restaurant is starting to improve but still not up to the standard of this great old hotel. Lovely, historical lobby.

It's an old fashioned hotel in downtown Las Vegas, NM. It featured live music in the hotel bar and is close to a couple bars near the NM Highlands Univ. campus, which is a short walk away. The hotel has such an iconic 19th century look that it's been featured in various movies and TV shows. Room rate was quite... More

We choose this hotel because i only one in downtown of Las Vegas. Nice old fashioned charming hotel with overlooking of the plaza park. Unfortunately they accomodate us on 3thd floor in newer part of the hotel with no window!!! There was only window to corridor with no chance of fresh air. Room spacios very dark with no nature light.... More

Recently purchased by Allan Affeldt, owner of the old Fred Harvey La Posada in Winslow, AZ, The Plaza is being updated in amenities, decoration, service and food quality. A lovely old place on a beautiful Old West plaza. Many movies and TV series have been shot in Las Vegas with The Plaza a frequent backdrop.

We had a lovely room overlooking the plaza. High ceilings, enormous windows, and a comfortable bed. The room rate was very reasonable, and the staff was very courteous. If you find yourself near Las Vegas, NM, a night at the Plaza hotel, with a meal in restaurant is well worth it.

Stayed here for two nights to tour the surrounding area and see Santa Fe. Room was great, view onto plaza. Wifi free. Parking free - staff helpful and informative about things to do locally. Breakfast is a non-event but the hotel happily recommends nearby alternatives. Dinner however was excellent - really good chef - fine mix of US and Mexican... More

I would have rated it higher if not for my memories of a previous stay back in 2009, I stayed there in a much nicer room on the second floor. This time I got a suite on the 3rd floor (the staff very kindly and generously gave me a free upgrade from a "normal" 3rd floor room). Breakfast was excellent.

The Plaza Hotel renovation continued during our late-April visit. Our room with a king size bed was quite pleasant with a certain modernized Victorian charm. The spacious bathroom was marred only by a shower head spraying squarely below my chin on my 5'11" frame. This was a minor annoyance though given the nice spray and water pressure and the upgraded...
