This hotel is great the front desk staff are very very help full. The room was very clean and quite big bath coffee maker. The breakfast was the best I have had in the usa cooked so well. I like the old style mix with the modern. The view from our window was so nice.

We enjoyed the stay, I was greeted by name (unusual at most hotels) great breakfast. Like others that commented the spring beds were just ok, but the location and friendless were great. I would stay again.

We stay here twice a year and it is something we always look forward to. Lovely grand dame, soon to be refreshed by me owner. We hope the atmosphere, service, value will still be great. Adorable staff. Truly dog friendly. Special town & hotel enjoyed by local townspeople and lucky travelers. Great bar and restaurant. Elegant yet unpretentious.

I was there for my daughter's graduation at UWC Montezuma. This was a wonderful historical place. The fact that it was still in business after all these years staying there is a privilege. We had the ground floor room. With our heavy luggage we couldn't complain. The spring bed was dated, not my kind but I tolerated. The big bathroom... More

Our stay at the Plaza overall was good. The room, located in the new section of the hotel, was quiet, with high ceilings and well cared for antiques. The hotel is conveniently located to the historic districts, and to the interstate. The hotel restaurant and bar both serve superb food. That said, there were some issues with our stay --... More

The Plaza is not your cookie cutter chain hotel. Everything in it suggests another era. We stayed here on our honeymoon almost 29 years ago and have stayed here off and on since then. They have continued to improve. When we arrived here recently on a Friday night the downstairs bar was hopping with live music. The desk clerk moved... More

As others have pointed out, this hotel has been in receivership for some time. I applaud them for keeping it open at all. The lobby lacks the charm of past visits, but our room was as it had always been---spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable w/ a lovely view of the plaza. Service has always been dicey at best of times,... More

It is a historic hotel and it has a lot of atmosphere. Therefore I'll be graceful with criticism. One thing I have to mention: They rent out a room to two adults that has only one bedside table. And this wasn't historic, only a bit shabby. A second one of these wouldn't hurt. Otherwise I was happy: very friendly staff,... More

We have always loved the plaza hotel. We have stayed there quite a few times and was always lovely, However recently we tried staying there and first we got a room with a very strong smell of pine sol so we changed our rooms. It started out great, And then we found a bug, but we didnt realize it was... More

My mother and I spent the weekend in Las Vegas, NM just for fun and stayed one night here. The staff was most accommodating and friendly and treated us like V.I.P.s! The room was spacious and beautiful! I'd stayed in the old part of the hotel before and this time got one of the new rooms. They kept the sense... More
