We have stayed here on several trips. Always in the winter. This trip we had 30 Amp A/C, water until sun down. NO dump. It was very cold (late Dec). RV's are made for spring and fall. Sometime during the night our "AC in over temp fault" tripped. My House Batteries were at Zero. We did not know this until... More

a usual k o a. Nothing special. ok, though the store is open exceedingly short hours. significant problem: internet doesn't work worth a damn. Incorrect login instructions and the signal is extreamly poor right next to the transmitter.

This was a pretty nice place, but the water pressure was terrible. When we got up in the morning we had no water at all! There were quite a few people there, but it wasn't packed. We only stayed here for 1 night. The wifi was decent. There was no cable but the tv reception was pretty good. It was... More

While the staff was friendly, the lack of current upgrades to the sites and roads, makes this one of worst KOAs in the franchise. And somehow are able to change top price. We won't be back. Many ruts in the road, thorns so plentiful you can't walk you dog, water at something less than 25 psi.

My other half and I made reservations here for my birthday trip. We love to explore this area of New Mexico and have wanted to stay here for awhile. It is a very rustic and relaxing KOA. We were one of about five RVs there. It sits right off of the interstate BUT it is so wooded and below the... More

This is a no-frills kinda place, although they have bike rentals and a nice pool (closed due to a broken pump... really sucked for the kids in 98+ temps) Super friendly people! They did a bbq dinner with home made potato salad and salsa that was FANTASTIC. Great place to meet other people and unwind after a day of travel.... More

this KOA is THE favorite of my family. it is quiet and very restful. we did not use the facilities, we had an RV. the sky is so clear. it is a good place to sky-watch. there are pinions everywhere and THAT makes the air smell terrific. it is as good spot for couples to reconnect. the rv spots are... Drove down from northern Colorado and pulled in just before the office closed. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. RV full hookup site was level and clean. Restrooms and showers were clean. Being away from the city the stars are phenomenal at night. Communal pancake breakfast in the morning put it over the top as sitting down and talking to... More

It was another 4 day weekend and I was headed back towards Taos and Santa Fe. I wanted something less than a hotel, but more comfortable than tent camping as it's still winter. Having stayed at a few KOA Camping Cabins, I made reservations at the KOA outside Las Vegas, NM. Cabin rental this time of year was only $45/night.... More

I pulled in well after dark and a nice lady showed up and helped me get squared away. The sites are no better or worse than any other in this part of the SW that resembles the surface of Mars. The facilities are clean though a little lacking in maintenance. Lots of hot water in the showers, which is most... More
