We stayed two nights at the Motel 6 on Telshor in Las Cruces NM and in the second night another guest approached us in the parking lot where we were feeding our kids and talking with family and stated that us Mexicans can not be doing this. She told the clerk Caleb that we needed to leave. Caleb came outside and told us we needed to pack up and leave and called the police on us. When the police showed up they told us there was nothing wrong with what we were doing. The Clerk Caleb told the police that he wanted us removed because we were all sitting in the parking lot and we were not in our rooms. The officer again told him we were doing nothing wrong and asked to see the policy that we could not sit together outside. So because another guest that was Caucasian did not like our ethnicity we had to wake our kids up after we had fed them and put them to bed because she did not want us there. We paid our room fee just like she did. Our first night we did the exact same and the clerk at the time actually went outside and talked with us. I will ensure that none of my family and friends or any other minority will stay at this hotel ever again. Because one guest was racist we got thrown to the street.

Booked two rooms both double queens one was supposed to be handicapped accessable. Called 2 days early to confirm they saw the message saying booked two rooms one handicapped please try to keep them close. I was told I had to prepay so they could assign the rooms to guarantee it, so I did. I called Friday morning spoke to Sarah to see if we could check in any earlier. She said my handicapped room was going to be ready about 1:30 and the other closer to 3. Arrived at 3 was told they didn't have any double bed handicapped rooms. Per Motel 6 policy if they don't have a double handicapped available they are to provide a companion room at no charge. NiDi refused and told me I could leave if I wasn't happy. I reminded her we prepaid for our rooms and confirmed twice verbally. She sd I was holding up the line and if I wasn't going to check in she was going to ask me to leave. Checked in to 223 and 225. 225 smelled of cigarettes. Sarah and NiDi were in the room off the front desk. They didn't know my kids were around there and heard Sarah complaining about how much she wanted to tell me to F off Asked front desk to ask the family above us to stop letting their kids jump up and down and run so much you could hear it in the hallway and both our rooms. Apparently that was funny to NiDi because she was laughing about it when telling Sarah Saturday morning.

I was surprised this location was actually a Motel 6, as the larger/nicer building is not a typical look for the chain. The inside was very nice as well, with at least 3 stories. All amenities were present and working great, plus this location is not far from several food choices and major roads/highways. The staff were all friendly. We thought it was odd that the 3rd floor was for guests with pets. It would seem easier to keep pets on the 1st floor to reduce having them in elevators. Despite this, we had a nice time and enjoyed the very large room.

Needed a place to stay for the night, this place is fine for an overnight stay on a budget. On the positive side, it is clean, and fairly convenient to the interstate. Negatives... if you are a coffee drinker, this place is not for you. No coffee maker in the room, No coffee available in the lobby. The clerk said there would be coffee in the morning. went there in the morning, NO coffee... she said the cups hadn't arrived yet not until after 7am. No breakfast offered at all, not even fruit or rolls. The shower is small, and constructed poorly, no way to rinse yourself off without rubbing up against the shower curtain. (in this time of national concern about infections, this is risky) The water pressure is weak. Wifi is spotty. TV is small with not many channels. They did give a 25% discount card for the nearby Ruby Tuesday which I did take advantage of. Overall... it IS clean, and makes a good enough overnight stay over. But that said, if i come back here I will find another hotel.

My husband was a guest of this motel, where there employees have no training. Do not know how to communicate in an appropriate way to their guests, and even threaten with "eviction", since they obviously have no training they do not understand when and how certain terms are used. We were on the phone for less than five minutes when the employee "Needy" called to ask him to lower the volume or she would have him "evicted". We were having a normal volume conversation when she walked past his room, stood outside the door and listened. I asked him to leave since this is obviously a violation of privacy. This "Needy" employee while I was on the phone with him, threatened him, refused to call management and acted completely unprofessional towards a paying guest. No guest complained, this was the employee taking it upon herself to be bothersome to a paying guest. Today we speak to the manager who clearly has no training as well, and refused to apologize and refund his money. Creating a fake policy that employees can walk around the hallways and listen for noise and threatened guest to "evict" them, again they don't even understand terminology. If the guest doesn't lower their voice. Again it was a five minute conversation we had. So according to Andi the manager they can sneak around to listen and if they feel it's loud they will take your money and kick you out. My husband travels all over and has never had an employee and manager act this way. Do not stay here, and if you do don't use your phone or "Needy" will threatened to "evict" you. This place needs to train their employees, and relate to them the reason they have a job is because of paying guests.

We were looking for a inexpensive hotel in the area for a one night stay. We were having trouble because a couple of the hotels we wanted to stay at were sold out. There was another hotels across the street from this hotel but their rates were $200 a night. We saw this hotel with a big banner along the top of the hotel stating that it was recently remodeled. The room rate was inexpensive but nice. The front desk staff was friendly. I was a little concerned because the hallways and interior of the hotel looked run down and shabby. The first floor was a little loud because of the pool but our room was on the third floor. It looks like only the rooms were recently remodeled. When we got to our room, the door handle was partially broken but we were able to get into the room. The room was nice with wood floors. It was clean and nicely decorated. The room was quiet and A/C cooled the room. Our room was at the end of hallway so we were right by the stairs. I used them to go to my car. The exterior door would not shut properly and people could come and go as they please all night long. This was a little concerning because there is a rehab place right next door to the hotel. I notified the front desk but the door was still same condition the next morning.

What a noisy place to stay. I have stayed here several times over the years but this time has to be the absolute worst time, noise from the elevator, ice machine, dishes clanking, to the circus upstairs (that never stopped and still going on, as I type this, a hurd of elephants would be more quiet). When we got to the motel, there were three people at the front desk that all gave us the stare down as we walked in. If there was so many working, could someone go and check and remind people about the noise. We did not call the front desk because in the past they HAVE NOT been responsive to the request. Then everytime anyone rolled over in bed, the bed squeaked. What a total waste of money and sleep time. Only rated a 1 was because the pool was available and could swim for 20 minutes. I was taught as a child that a motel is not somewhere to make noise to disturb other by not slamming doors or talking in the hallways.
