We recently traveled from Tucson, to the Mesilla, NM area. Great area, full of history, shops restaurants. We fell upon the Hotel Meson, while looking for a place to stay. There were many "name" hotels, but this one was different. For maybe $10.00 more than the average hotel around, this was charming, clean and had a restaurant that was wonderful.... More

I wasn't sure what to expect of this hotel given the mixed and somewhat odd reviews, but I am glad we gave it a chance. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. Our room was comfortable and very quiet. And, yes, we did have a shower. It was a tub/shower combination which is not at all unusual. The grounds... More

The rooms are clean and quiet and the beds are very comfortable. A curious feature of the hotel is that there are no showers In any of the rooms. There are baths or jacuzzis. The other curious fact was that we were the only guests. Overall the hotel is dark: dark carpets, dark hallways, dark gold paint, plastic grapes. We... More

It's a beautiful property. It was almost empty when we stayed so it was very quiet. The front desk staff we worked with were very friendly. However, the staff kept saying they had to ask the owner whenever we had a question. It was odd. And the interaction we had with her was unpleasant, hence the 3 stars. For that... More

While visiting Las Cruces, we stopped in to check our Meson de Mesilla Hotel/Restaurant/Lounge to help us plan for our next visit to this area. Chain hotels are fine for spending the night on the road if your only purpose it to sleep, but if you want to actually experience the area, I strongly suggest checking out this amazing property.... The restaurant is just amazing, hats down to the staff, who were so friendly. The privacy is incredible as well, really recommend to anyone... More

I was interested in staying here after seeing it featured on Gordon Ramsey's Hotel Hell in which he turned it around. Our room was delightful with a fake fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. We had a reasonably priced and good meal in the bar, The staff was pleasant and helpful. There are lots of areas to sit outside to enjoy the... More

Spent our 20 year anniversary at this place and we loved it! Food, Service, everything was so nice. Walking distance to Historical Mesilla, NM. Across the road is a great wInery with delicious NM wines.

Don't bother with this disgusting place, owner ignorant can't sing, is rude and very obnoxious. A complete waste of money. I would rather flush my money down a toilet than spend it at this hotel or restaurant on such horrible food and owner.

The view from the rooftop patio is beautiful. Unfortunately, it takes so long to get a drink a the bar I have missed the sunset on two separate occasions. I am not sure why it takes so long since there were only 1 or 2 other couples a the bar and there were 4 or 5 wait staff hanging out... More
