We stopped here for a night on our tour of the Gila. We called ahead and reserved our room and were informed that there were no facilities in Glenwood on Sunday night, so we ate dinner in Silver City. Note there are few places to eat here or near here. The motel is an older property but very well maintained,... More

We were travelling through to our way up to Holbrook AZ, when we saw this beautiful little village. So we decided to stay there for one night. We talked to this very nice German Lady, who owns and runs this historic place. It was great to stay there. The Motel is historic old, but in very good condition. It is... More

This is a hidden gem. We were travelling through on our way to Holbrook AZ. This is a beautiful area and we saw this awesome old Motel. So we stopped and talked to the lady who owns the place. A very nice German Lady running this vintage place. It is very nice, ols and very clean. The countryside is awesome... More

This motel is clean, cozy, charming and inexpensive. I stayed here for one night on business and was very pleased with the condition of the rooms and the tidiness of the motel grounds. The manager was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. No complaints, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I stay here about twice a year, either for family travel or work. Every time, it's great. I really like the owner, who is very welcoming and kind. Rooms are small, clean, and there's wifi. The best part, though, is that the motel is along Whitewater Creek--so the birdsong in the morning and evening is wonderful.

We were in Glenwood, NM last weekend and our friend Bucky had a birthday bash which was so much fun. If you have never attended one of these, I recommend you do. He is the commissioner and the party is for the entire town. Wonderful food and awesome country music!!! Proceeds went to help the town's pavilion. He recommended this... More

The title to this review basically sums it up. We really enjoyed our stay. What a neat place! Since we always bring whatever we might need on a trip, we did not miss any shampoo bottles or the like. We had a wonderful evening just sitting outside on the chairs so nicely provided, just enjoying to be away from all... More

I've been going to this hotel since I was a kid and now my wife and I try to go once a year. The people who own the place are so nice and the town is the perfect getaway. The only problem with the place is it's booked all the time because everyone else loves it too.

We stay here once a year and I'm still trying to find a room with a firm mattress. The rooms are rustic, but the showers are fantastic with strong water pressure! You do need to be on the self-sufficient side and bring your own shampoo and hair dryer. I also bring a small travel hot water pot to make coffee... More
