This smaller motel met our requirements. The owner was very friendly and the room, though small, was clean and comfortable. We were the only occupants the night we stayed. The surroundings were beautiful and there were animals around in the morning. There is no coffee/tea maker or microwave in the room. A coffee room / breakfast room is set up... More

I was down in the Gila area looking for wolves. Glenwood is a nice little town. There is nowhere to eat dinner but there is a great little breakfast place. The Glenwood Tavern is open Thursday through Saturday night and has some food. If you are in a pinch there is a store in Alma up the road to the... More

I stayed here for a night based on the reviews. Well. I suggest you go to silver city. The heater didn't work, old plumbing made taking a shower a challenge. No microwave. No morning coffee. No wifi. Im easy to please but some amenities should be a standard. U get what u pay for.

We stopped here for a night on our tour of the Gila. We called ahead and reserved our room and were informed that there were no facilities in Glenwood on Sunday night, so we ate dinner in Silver City. Note there are few places to eat here or near here. The motel is an older property but very well maintained,... More

We were travelling through to our way up to Holbrook AZ, when we saw this beautiful little village. So we decided to stay there for one night. We talked to this very nice German Lady, who owns and runs this historic place. It was great to stay there. The Motel is historic old, but in very good condition. It is... More

This motel is clean, cozy, charming and inexpensive. I stayed here for one night on business and was very pleased with the condition of the rooms and the tidiness of the motel grounds. The manager was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. No complaints, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I stay here about twice a year, either for family travel or work. Every time, it's great. I really like the owner, who is very welcoming and kind. Rooms are small, clean, and there's wifi. The best part, though, is that the motel is along Whitewater Creek--so the birdsong in the morning and evening is wonderful.

We were in Glenwood, NM last weekend and our friend Bucky had a birthday bash which was so much fun. If you have never attended one of these, I recommend you do. He is the commissioner and the party is for the entire town. Wonderful food and awesome country music!!! Proceeds went to help the town's pavilion. He recommended this... More
