I think it's great for families! I have a two year and two month old and was traveling without my husband and felt comfortable here. The entrance is into a wide open lobby with a fountain and there is lots of room to run around and get the shakes out. There is a game room (pool table, ping pong table,... more

We were just passing through and stayed only one night, but we will stay at this hotel again. The staff was efficient, professional, and friendly. The room was very clean and well decorated. Even the corners of the bathroom floor were clean. The sheets were crisp and the mattress was comfortable, and we got a good night's sleep. The restaurant... more

We missed out on the La Quinta and the two other top-rated hotels by waiting too long to call in our reservation. When we got to this hotel (at the very far end of Gallup, or the western end), it was almost creepy in how it seemed deserted, especially because it's a true hotel and not a motel. The rooms... more

Since the new owners took it over in the begining of 2009, the hotel has done so many changes. i stayed there in the Feb of 2008 and it wasnt good. But since i heard new owners took in over i tried again. My recent visit was great. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and the... more

I travel I-40 on business, and I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Gallup since it is right between OKC and LA. Recently after exiting off I-40 on to old Route 66 I found the Gallup Inn down the road a bit, and I'm glad I did. Everything about the property was perfect for a business traveler like... more

I was going to say that the best thing about the room was the lack of bugs, until I found the cockroach under the bed. The heater was loud enough to wake us up, only to be followed by the very loud freight train in the middle of the night. The sheets were very worn and thin, and the boxsprings... more

I had braced myself for any number of "inconveniences" when I made my plans to stay at the Gallup Holiday Inn. To my surprise, I found it very comfortable and quiet. My room was on the second story opening into the cavernous lobby. The room was comperable to the many business class hotels I frequent for work. The room was... more

We usually stay at the holiday Inn's since we are prefered members, but after a week we had to change motels. The room was always cold, stool was broken, carpet bad, walls peeling. No microwave or fridge, and expensive. Breakfast was always cold. Never stay there again. more

We spent 5 days at the Holiday Inn in Gallup, NM and found it to be a very nice place to stay. The air conditioner was in fine working condition, the breakfast buffet was ample with very friendly waitresses. Not only did they NOT charge $10 a day for internet access, they provided free wireless DSL. Although close to the... more

I was part of a church youth choir tour. We had 16 rooms for 50 people. The reservations had been made for over 4 months. The hotel was notified of our late arrival ( close to midnight) and early depart (7am) Also, that our entire group would eat the breakfast. So now begins the problems. It was a day of... more
