Some truck parking out behind the building, a plus in the oversized load escort business that I am in. Rooms clean and comfortable, decent beds too! Clean bathrooms with great water pressure in the shower . Staff is pleasant and was able to recommend a resturant but urged haste as they would be closing soon. Usual breakfast typical of Super... I usually stay her twice a year for work. It is clean and the staff is always helpful and parking is very adequate. It is also reasonably priced.

The room was clean, but the plaster was coming loose in two places in the bathroom, The parking lot and the side walk up to the main entrance was not cleared even though it hadn't snow for 36 hours. There was lots of time for anyone to take a shovel and at least clear the side walks but this wasn't... More

The room was fairly large and had a coffee pot and a mini-fridge. Of course, it would have been nicer if there had not been someone's leftovers in that mini-fridge. The free wifi actually worked really well. The room was nice enough, but the cleaning was a bit off in several areas. The clerk at check in was very friendly.... More

I had discovered the hotel back 20 years ago when it was just opened and our young family had to have a nights rest on a long trip from Austin, Texas up to the home in Pagosa Springs, Co. We have over the years used this as a good over night stay on this 14 hour drive, giving us a... More

Read about Billy the Kid Motel and aimed for it, but it was totally booked so found this Super 8 right across the street. Seems to be family run and the staff was cordial. The room was clean and comfortable. Price was decent. The laundry room was right next door to our room, but out of order. However, the desk... More

Check in is good and hospitallity is good. Lobby rather small and combined with breakfastcorner. Room is very small but clean and a good comfortable kingbed. No flatscreen but reasonable quality of old TV. Breakfast looked rather poor so we decided to go outside. Price of room rather high for the size but it is the only motel in town.

The folks were so nice I hate to write this and...yes, it is Ft. Sumner...but I've never felt like I needed to take a shower after I checked out of a place until now. We arrived late and had a sleeping child. When we walked in, the air in the room felt wet. The pipe under the sink was broken... More
