Lodging in Eagle Nest is somewhat limited, especially compared to Red River but Econo Lodge was probably the best in town. Certainly thought this was just average as to the the accomodations and the rooms really need an update. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good and plentiful though pretty much standard. If I... More

We went to New Mexico for a working vacation and decided to see some new country. Eagle Nest is not that far from Taos (our business appointment) but is tucked into a lovely intermountain valley near a natural lake. The hotel is just outside of the village with plenty of parking with a widespread panoramic view. The checkin is folksy... More

Can't fathom how anyone could rate this vintage 1990's motel as anything but poor. It is very similar to one we stayed with in Pagosa Springs at the beginning of July. The owner wherever he is is milking this place. Internet does not work. TV is a tube set from the 90's that has many Christian stations and FOX News.... More

The owner and staff are friendly. Breakfast was nice with staff willing to make your waffle! The entire town is friendly. Now for the rooms. Fruitloops under night stand from previous guest. Which makes you question cleanliness. Rooms don't get vacuumed during your stay so the fruitloops remainedbas did some gravel from the drive. Door to bathroom does not latch... More

We stayed here a couple of nights while we were looking around at Angel Fire and Red River. Everything seemed to work okay and everything was clean when we got there except the toilet. That was disappointing. The next morning we placed a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, but it was ignored and the maid entered and cleaned... More

Thank you for your comments. We try our best. Your input is appreciated. I did check into this issue and it has been resolved. Sometimes due to the wind in the valley the do not disturb sign blows off the handle. I am very sorry. We appreciate your business. More

My family and I visited valentine's weekend. We stayed two nights. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. Some of the best service I've had. Their biscuit and gravy breakfast was very satisfying also. The hotel was awesome. My only complaint was the bed was hard for my taste. Would not prevent me from returning though.

My husband and I stayed here for Valentine's weekend and went skiing in Angel Fire. Our stay was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice too! My only recommendation is to have coffee makers in the rooms. Overall we had a wonderful time!

We stayed here last summer and had a very pleasant experience. It is the only place in Eagle Nest that I could recommend. It is dated but very clean and the proprietors have really turned this place around. Enjoy your stay. You will feel welcome.

We arrived at hotel late night with our two small kiddos. This location was are jumping point to ski at Red Redriver for a couple of days. The rooms were quite clean and comfortable but a tad small for a growing family. Fairly quiet nights considering the hotel was packed with ski goers. There is a complementary breakfast with waffles/biscuits/gravy... More
