Quiet and quaint. Small motel, but a lot of effort has been put into furnishings and decorations. No hot water that night but fine by the next morning. We will definitely stay here any time we are passing through.

If the mattresses had not had the springs up in my back all night long, it would have been ok for one night. We were in room 24. Even my husband who can sleep on anything at the drop of a hat could not sleep on it and he said the mattress made his back sore the next day. The... More

This is probably the best hotel in Cuba, NM. But that is not saying much. First day I had a big black widow making his way to my room, so be advised don't put your boots outside your room, even though the checkin lady asks you too. Overpriced is all I can say, but you really have no choice if... More

We stayed here one night on our way to Chaco. The Hotel is clean ,rooms quite large with beds very comfortable. An older property ,but very good value . We found The Frontier very quiet even though it is on the main street through town. There is a coffee maker in the room ,fridge and microwave. We would stay there... More

Traveling through New Mexico and decided to stop in Cuba for the night. Spotted this motel and decided to try it. Small, older facility but room was clean, coffee in room. Need to add additional electricAL strips or plug in covers but otherwise everything was good. Management friendly and helpful. Price was a bonus

Had a work assignment with housing needs that company hadn't covered with their booking arrangements that created a difficult last minute change. Coming in on a Sunday and without reservations before office opened compounded the demand, but Frontier Motel Owner never hesitated a minute to come to our rescue. We had a clean, pleasant room that was just finished by... More

My husband & I had a lovely stay on our way from Chaco Culture Heritage Park to Los Alamos. Tim at the desk was extremely friendly when we checked in and the room was large, clean & quaint. We were located in the section across the road from the office and there was no road noise that we noticed. There... More

We chose Cuba, NM as a stopover on our way to Chaco Cultural Center. Even though it's still an hour and a half away, it is one of the closest places to stay. Cuba is a very small town - no "chain" hotels or restaurants here. But that's what makes it charming. The Frontier was a bit old, but clean,... More

Great little motel with clean rooms and free wifi. There was a frig and microwave. The shower was large and had good pressure. The host was very helpful and friendly. I could also walk to my favorite restaurant, El Bruno's. The price was very reasonable too!

I was pleasantly surprised by this motel. We needed a room with 2 beds and the only room available was a room with a kitchenette. Our room had 2 separate bedrooms (both had a TV), and a small kitchen. I was expecting a 50s style room but the bathroom and kitchen had been remodeled and the rooms were attractive and... More
