My wife and I stayed here at Easter 2013, just for one night. The breakfast was superb, with Easter eggs and an Easter cake to take away. The room was fine, the house is comfortable and quiet, and the walk to the pub in Corrales is short and interesting. Judith and George provide great hospitality.

Sandhill Crane offers something nearly unique among bed and breakfasts -- the ability to stay without a two night minimum! This makes it perfect for day trips, date nights (as mentioned by another reviewer) or just passing through. The location is lovely and quiet, and Judith went out of her way to accommodate both our travel logistics and our special... More

My wife and I are young parents with three little ones at home, and we try and get away at least once or twice a year for a "date night". This weekend date night was a concert in Rio Rancho and a stay at Sandhill Crane in Corrales. Judy and George were great hosts and as we were the only... More

We are so glad we were able to make your getaway special. We were once parents of young children, though it was some time back, but we still remember how important those getaways can be. We look forward to seeing you again! More

We have stayed at the Sandhill Crane B&B for multiple days, twice this past year. We fully expect to return. The rooms are clean, well-appointed, and cozy, and Judith and George make it a point to see to it that you are comfortable. As a bonus, Judith's gourmet breakfasts make getting out of bed in the morning a pleasure rather... More

From the moment we arrived I felt as if I was visiting home. The hosts were warm, kind and welcoming. We arrived the day before Thanksgiving and the home was filled with delicious odors of baked pies. We stayed in the Cowboy room; comfy and quiet. Breakfast was superb and gourmet! (Ask for the orange zest butter!) Thank you Judith... More

We stayed in the Mesa room - adorable cowboy design. Judith and George were excellent hosts and breakfast was delicious. If you are in the Albuquerque area, we recommend checking out Corrales; it has a small-town feeling and New Mexican charm. We will definitely stay at the Sandhill Crane again.

Stayed five days for a family wedding. The accommodations were excellent and Judith really knows how to cook and be an excellent hostess. You will be absolutely spoiled with her breakfast cooking... and she shares her recipes! I highly recommend this B&B.

We stayed at the Sandhill Crane for our 3rd (or 4th?) time a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. The house itself is beautiful, and Judith and her husband have really worked on making their patio/veranda peaceful and inviting, with gorgeous views of the Sandia Mountains. Judith's breakfasts are fabulous. We were the only guests there at... More

I spent three days at the Sandhill Crane B&B. I left having been pampered and found new and supportive friends through Judith and George. I tried to convince Judith to return to WA with me until I move to NM but she needs to be there for all you future boarders. What a delightful surprise you will have! Judith and... More

This bed and breakfast is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Judith is an excellent and friendly host, not to mention a highly skilled chef. The only downside is that the next place I stay will surely be a disappointment in comparison.
