We booked this B&B because of a slight obsession with Chocolate and it turned out to be a very tasteful experience. Everything was deluxe at a reasonable rate. The room was very comfortable and well decorated, but better still was comfort level of the living and dining areas and the gorgeous back yard gardens. We lounged on the covered back... More

As a single woman, I am looking for safe and personable accomodations. The Chocolate Turtle and its owners, Denise & Keith, fit that bill. I lunched at a quaint Mexican family owned and operated restaurant called Casa de Benavidez. The food was delicious. Denise and I then walked along the Bosque, which bordered the Rio Grande river. Then Denise took me... More

On a return trip, we experienced another wonderful experience. Owners Keith and Denise were super gracious and accommodating. Where else can a traveler find personal attention than at the Chocolate Turtle! Freshly baked cookies and snacks in mid-afternoon, hot coffee waiting in the morning, and a scrumptious breakfast (different entrees each day)in the morning. One may choose to relax in... More

Spent one day and night at this B&B. My cousin had his wedding there, and things could not have gone any better. The owners are very lovely and friendly. Can't wait to go back and spend some more time at this beautiful oasis. This is on the must do again list for sure.

We just got home from a great couple of nights at the Turtle. We had 4 couples getting together so we had booked up all the rooms in advance and had a great time exploring the area. Wine tasting, dinner at the Inidgo Crow, and shopping in old town. Amazing breakfasts prepared by Keith and Denise. Fantastic!

My husband and I chose the Chocolate Turtle because we couldn't find a single negative review, and after staying there we know we couldn't have picked a better place! Keith and Denise were so welcoming, and the place just felt cozy, like coming back to a second home at the end of the day. Since it was our first visit... More

This place is like coming home. The owners are so sweet and attentive as well as pet friendly. The living room has a nice fireplace where guests can sit and have a glass of wine. I would recommend it to anyone.

Although we do have friendly pets,(Zorro and Rico are hypo-allergenic), we have not made a committment to having our guest rooms as "pet friendly". Zorro enjoys being the B&B"King". We look forward to your future stay. More

Rooms were spotless, breakfast was so delicious, fresh baked cookies were out for our enjoyment as well as coffee and tea anytime we wanted it! She even packed us a to... More

The Chocolate Turtle has it all: beautiful rooms, comfortable gathering places inside and out, yummy food, great views of Sandia Peak, gracious and helpful hosts, and Zorro, who is really the icing on the cake (I should say the chocolate on the turtle). Our initial visit at The Chocolate Turtle was so great that we returned on our way home... More
